New to the group by
SuperEeyore
Instead of being my typical self and lurking forever and day in a new to me
group before posting, I thought I would instantly delurk.
Woohoo! Yey for me for stepping out of my box!
looks around and feels naked all of the sudden...

cable question by
SuperEeyore
I've been doing an afghan square pattern from a book, and have done each
different square pattern once. The pain one color squares and my newly
learned intarsia squares are exactly the same size. The last square pattern
is a simple c7b repeated four times. Am I pulling the cable stitches...

Happy Halloween by
SuperEeyore
I took a mini break from knitting to sew a costume for my daughter. At
first she refused to put it on. I got real worried all the effort was for
nothing. But last night she decided it wasn't so bad being a piglet! That
pooh bear is her best friend by the...

Classy scarves by
SueCD
Well, I know that it's almost the wrong time of year for this, but
here's an idea for a great-looking scarf - maybe it will give some of
you some ideas for winter birthday or Christmas gifts. I've made a
couple of dozen of these to sell and they never fail to attract "wow!"
type comments.
You...

Curling ribbing by
Sue W
I've just been knitting a two colour rib: K2 main colour, P1 contrast, and
while it looks lovely, it is curling outwards just like stockinette. Is this
usual? I suppose the opposing forces of the knits and purls don't work so
well when they aren't in the same strand of yarn. Does anyone know of...

Finished NYCO! by
Sue W
I finally finished my NYCO. The second sleeve seemed to take forever! It is
Guernsey gals from The Best of Knitters Arans and Celtics. I had to adapt it
a bit to suit the gauge of DK instead of worsted or aran. This has inspired
me to set up a photo album and so if you would like to have a look...
