modeling by
[email protected]
I'm thinking of getting into clay modeling. Could someone tell me
where I can pick up some plasticine? For instance, does Walmart sell
it?

Sculpey Ultralight by
Emmett
Oh yeah, I'm loving this stuff! Does anyone know just how thick you
can go with it? I've been using foil for armature building, but the
packaging for the Ultralight says it's a good substitute. But they
don't say how thick you can go, and how long will it take to cure? I
know the general 15...

burnt sculpey!!! by
Metis Artist
I accidentally cooked my sculpey at 375 for 20 minutes instead of 275. It's
turned almost black. Question is...I was planning on painting it anyway. Is
it salvageable? should I bake it longer at a lower temp? Is it going to be
more fragile now?
Thanks
Tania

Looking For Textured Sheets Sources in Canada by
thequietcamper
This is a great site. I cannot remember where I saw it, but the polymer
artist/creator was using a **flower** textured sheet along with polymer clay
in a pasta maker and then proceeded to make beads from the designed/textured
and beautifully coloured polymer. The results were spectacular.
My...

TLS vs Kato Liquid Polyclay by
Polly S.
TLS vs Kato Liquid Polyclay
I was wondering about pros and cons or particular reasons/uses of one
instead of the other... (did that make sense?) Somewhere I read that the
Kato is more clear but rubbery when cured.
And while I'm at it :) I've been using Fimo for the most part and really
like it...

I won't bore you with all the gory details, but it was just this

Some companies have developed 3D printers that can actually construct an
object. When (and how much) the price drops this could have some fascinating
applications for polymer...

I just started The Mall of Crafters and I am trying to build up my
Crafters list by giving webpages away FREE for one year to different
polymer clay artists. I want the site to look good and well rounded in
crafts so I am giving some sites away to attract others who will be

Sculpey Eraser Clay - one year later by
Irwin
A year ago, I asked whether anyone knew about the durability of
Sculpey Eraser Clay. I wanted to use it as the bottom of my boxes
because it is somewhat spongy rather than hard.
Well.... I never did formal testing of the material, but recently I
did find out the suitability of trhe material for my...
