Another Ad: A couple of ONE CENT auctions by
Tinkster
Now, you guys know I'm pretty even tempered and pretty easy to get
along with. Right? Well someone emailed me today. A lampwork artist.
The content of the email was a tirade/rant about my web and auction
prices being low and how I'm wrecking the industry and blah blah blah.
Well, I don't think...

problem with clasp..how do I fix it? by
Amber
I bought a really nice sterling silver clasp at a bead show yesterday.
It's an S hook, but instead of the hook connecting to plain rings, it
connects to two dragon heads. There are loops on the back of the heads
for attaching the clasp to the piece of jewelry, but I didn't notice
until today that...

Way OT> Not feeling myself right now.. by
Harry
I want to thank everyone about there comments and support. I am not trying to seem like I am ignoring anyone or
harboring any feelings. It's just that right now I am having a tough go at it. I would expand farther but this may cause
others to feel as bad as I do. I am not angry in any way at anyone...

Semi-OT - forum censorship by
Kalera Stratton
I have recently found out that Wetcanvas is actively censoring certain
links (to other forums) out of private messages between users... and
this really upsets me. I personally have made furthering accurate
information about lampworking one of my core values, and it breaks my
heart to see a popular...

OMG by
Lola
My mom has been at it all day today. I don't think she even hears
anything anyone else says, she just uses everything as a launching point
from which to talk about herself. She interrupts... it's driving me
crazy. It would be OK if she didn't follow me around and talk endlessly
about herself, but...

Copyright Infringement?? by
DreamBeadr
Charlene Hughes, aka BeadyBoop stepped into her local beadstore recently and
discovered that there is a beader who is offering kits to stores up and down
the west coast. One of the kits bears an amazing resemblance to a Rose pattern
that Charley created in 1999. The designer mentioned to the LBS...

OT - Story: My child hating reputation by
Candace
I only have one thing to say to this: *grin*
snip
I know that most of you think that I love children, but that hasn't always
been the case. A little over twenty years ago, I was told I was a child
hating B*tch, and I happily agreed with the accusers.snip

I'm in trouble now. by
Beadbimbo
My first real seed beading after taking a class yesterday!
http://www.beadbimbo.com/ebay/class1.jpg
The first one is a spiral bracelet, and then 2nd one, she calls "confetti".
I'm thinking of making it into a lariat, or making a vessel to go with it.
I'm hooked. Ok, I'm starting to get the seed...

bead magazines survey by
roxan
I just got done filling out the survey someone posted here and was wondering
how others feel about the bead magazines that are currently out there.
I find most of them have too many beginner projects and not enough interest
for an advanced beader like myself. I think Lapidary Journal has been...

COMPLETELY OT - Stickers! by
Tink
Back in the early 1980s when my stepchildren were about 10/12 years old, we
collected stickers together. Now, keep in mind that back then, finding ANY
kind of decorative sticker was somewhat of a coup. Suzy's Zoo, Mrs.
Grossman... Those were all in the future.
As with everything else I do, I...

OT 1 of the Most Beautiful Things..... by
Dr. Sooz
Here's another one. (No, I don't want to know What Kind of Bead You'd Be If
You Were A Bead.)
What is one of The Most Beautiful Things you can think of right now, off the
top of your head? No soul searching; keep it simple and pure. You can have
more than one if you want. :-)

Update...she is less than 180 miles away. God help me!
I just finished cleaning and putting things away in the guest bedroom. All

can we talk about quality findings and components? (long) by

Thought maybe we could start this discussion anew... I'm sure you "oldies"
have gone over this stuff a bunch of times for us "newbies", but I'm loving
the little nuggets I'm picking up in the other thread - just not loving the
sifting through it to find them...
so, please, tell us or comment...

OT Viggo *sigh* by
Marisa Cappetta
One advantage to being laid up today was my LOTR marathon, the extended
Fellowship, followed by our newly acquired copy of the 2 Towers.
Anyone who tells me they are NOT in love with Viggo Mortenson is a big fat
liar with pants aflame. I have SUCH a crush on him!!

Curious by

Hello Ladies and Fellas,
Lurker here with a quick question, if you don't mind. I followed a
link while reading some old posts from the group and was wondering how
many people here are witches/wiccans/pagans? The link and subsequent
web ring I found last night was very interesting reading. ...
