Latest sculptures on Ebay by
HRV846
Hello all
Its been a while since you all have seen my sculptures. I've always sculpted
miniature animals. Diane B from Glassattic.com may remember my attempts at
making kids & people. I remember she asked once whether the eyes were painted
or what.
About 4 months ago I began sculpting my favorite...

Metal-effect paint on polymer clay by
Tasha
Hi,
I've been trying to achieve a 'chrome' effect on some of my baked Fimo
creations without much luck - silver acrylic paint from my local art
shop gets me a 'brushed' effect, but it's not true chrome silver and
has a distinct texture. Can anyone recommend a product that would get
me a smoother...

first was a clear plastic bic (the ones available everywhere) and
unfortunately I hadn't tested it first and lost my work :-( The other was a

Making images on Premo with T-shirt transfer paper??? by
[email protected]
Hello all. I am new to this group. I have read somewhere that it is
possible to use T-shirt transfer paper for inkjet printers to make an
image on Premo clay. Is this true?
I am unable to find the source of the idea. I read so much at the
library and bookstores (I know, I'm not supposed to do...

Polishing clay beads by
DianeGlassAttic
I make small beads
and it's very hard to polish them. Is there something you can do besides
hand-rubbing these beads to make them look finished?
Check out the info I have for one quicker way on this page ...using a
Scumbuster in a shallow bowl of water with the beads (or possibly a...

I am trying to find out how to make a ring like this sample..
http://www.creedcanada.com/40081-87.html
I have been looking at the idea of printing it on photopaper and
sealing it in with a clear resin.
Then I post on a another forum suggested transferring to clay.

Pigment Powder and Polymer Clay by
k9trainer1417
I'm new to polymer clay and am interested in using pigment powder to
get interesting effects. But how do you use it? Should be mixed
through the clay, brushed on a piece before firing, or added after
firing? Any suggestions? Thanks.

Varathane in small containers? by

Greetings,
I've checked the local big box hardware stores (Lowe's, Home Depot) and
I've only been able to find Varathane Diamond Floor Finish in gallon
cans. I do not need *that* much. Is it available for sale in smaller
containers? Could anyone recommend a reliable online...

Sculpey Ultralight by
Emmett
Oh yeah, I'm loving this stuff! Does anyone know just how thick you
can go with it? I've been using foil for armature building, but the
packaging for the Ultralight says it's a good substitute. But they
don't say how thick you can go, and how long will it take to cure? I
know the general 15...

This is one of those "duh" moments!
I rarely check the homepage of my ISP, and I usually ignore the offers
they send by email.
I'm glad I finally checked, because they offer a free picture album!
(And I'm working on the free web page.)
I don't know the storage limitation, but I've posted a few...
