Tatting by
vanmier
Does anyone here Tat? I am looking for recommendations for "Tatting for
beginners" sort of sites or books. I have been looking at other Tatting
books and I am thinking about giving it a go. Any help or suggestions would
be quite helpful.

Found a good deal. by
vanmier
My mother-in-law and I were shopping the other day and we found some good
deals on yarn. Lion Brand Suede (originally sells for $6.49 US) for $0.99!
They only had about four colors, but the ones that they had were lovely. If
there is anything wrong with with the yarn, I can't tell.

Swap? by
Georgia[_2_]
I have 2 yarns that I've realized I'm not going to knit into sweaters, and
I'd love to swap them for something I would knit. There is at least a
sweater's worth (for an average-sized woman) of each--they are fine yarns,
I'm just not contemplating knitting sweaters out of them in the...

'mohair' question, plz by
val189
Hello,
May a newcomer butt in?
I crocheted an afghan back in the early eighties with a fake mohair
I believe was called "Kitten". I am getting psyched to do another
one and wonder if this stuff is still available, or can anyone
recommend something comparable.
Thank you.

Well, they just...

we speak many different languages, we...
