Does FimoUSA exist? by
[email protected]
I recently placed an order for a large quantity of polymer clay with
FimoUSA (http://store.fimousa.com/)) via their website several weeks
ago. I've yet to receive it. I've sent them 4 emails and have had no
response. I tried calling the listed phone number
(1-888-310-FIMO(3466) but the recording...

New project idea, but need advice... by
Marissa Undercofler
I have been thinking of making "chocolates" with polymer clay for my sister
for her birthday. I don't want to use my polymer clay to make the middle
(don't have any scrap). So, the advice I need is what to use to make the
shapes...I don't care what it is, as long as it can stay inside the...

ridgid mold material by
mike spence
Can someone suggest the best product for me to use to make a rigid
mold. Also what I will need to keep the casting agent from sticking to
the mold and a weather proof product to do my casting with? Thanks for
any suggestions.

Press moulds by
Jackdaw
I am in the UK, so... Hi to all you lot over the pond.
I was wondering, is it possible to make a "press mould" for Fimo? I need to
make a range of small (one inch by two inch ) jewellery type things. I am
keeping my designs close to my chest, till I can finalise. Would a silicon
mould work, or...

New here and new to clay by
Barbara Forbes-Lyons
Welcome Cindy -
there are many clay classes and retreats out there. In addition, there
are guilds that hold regular meetings and retreats. In central VA, I
think the closest guild may be the Blue Ridge Guild, but check the
National Polymer Clay Guild web site for a full...

My First Class by
Diana Curtis
Some might think that having a single person show up would be a
dissappointment, but for me it was perfect. My student and I had fun
covering real blown eggs with clay, then she took off on her own and covered
a pen and made beads! I got to explain a lot of the basics with her, and she
saw how...

baking rocks and crystals in clay by
Stephanie
Does anyone know if the baking heat for polyclay and or the fumes will change
the color or opacity of rocks and crystals? It's clear quartz crystal I am most
worried about. I want to make bezels and or bails for them.
Thanks, Stephanie.

A question about liquid clays by
mermaidscove_com
I've been doing TLS transfers, I was wondering if other brands- fimo
and kato are also floppy in thin layers? That is, are either more rigid
after baking?

On-line shopping in the UK ? by
ES
Hi, I'm fairly new to polymer clay, if I leave out the not-so-pretty
attempts to help the kids YEARS ago with their fimo-scupltures. I was
recently directed to some sites where really beautiful beads were on
display. It was completely breathtaking. I now try making my own beads, but
find it hard to...
