HELP!!!
I need to know where I can find knitting needle holders. I have a complete
set of needles. I have a partially paralyzed right side and would like to
resume knitting. My left side is normal. I have seen one gizmo but haven't
been too impressed.

Hi Jane,
Sorry about the delay, but my DH's car caught on fire a few days ago. He had
the mail in his car. Fortunately neither the mail nor DH were damaged, (the car
slightly), but it's in a body shop about 1 hour away. I'll get it by Monday -
Sorry!

August FO Report and Stupid Ducks by
SlinkyToy
I changed the ducks' water station for something bigger, as I have
more ducks today than I did yesterday. Idiots won't go near it.
I just finished weaving in the ends on the Wallaby sweater I've been
working on for the DS. I can't get him to put it on, as he's in
"summer and shorts only" mode...

New here by

Hi Jill,
I'll have to look up Patricia Kristofferson
to see what kind of dolies they are. I mainly do crocheted afghans for Project
Linus. I gave up with knitting when I developed trigger thumb.

Which Noro are you looking at? I've worked with Kureyon (lots of
socks on #7 needles), Silk Garden (scrumptious hats on #5s) and Big
Bebe (one hat per skein and not even remotely economical, but fun
nonetheless). Its all good.
I'm not familiar with the Jaeger you mention, tho I have samples...

Throw rugs by
H Schinske
I'd like to
think of some way to make them a bit skid-proof underneath, though.
I'd put a non-stick mat underneath, just the way we do with our Oriental rugs.
You can get them cut any size at a rug store.

Thought I should come out of lurking. I'm a crocheter that's just
re-learning how to knit. Any way it's been a long time since I've been here
and it's good to see some familiar faces are still here

Hi Nora
You know that book I mentioned. The one with the Cardinal afghan pattern.
Amazon.com carries used paperback copies for about $1.50 or less. I plan on
ordering one as soon as I've moved and gotten my computer established again.

CMM PDX2
Well, I knew it would be understood here...
Since about 6:30 p.m, I've been d'loading pix from my favorite clip-art
newsgroup, to keep myself occupied during the boring part of a project.
Said project is skeining some yarn for over-dyeing. (not that it isn't a
perfectly lovely fuschia color...

I hope this isn't an inappropriate place to post this. But I'd love

needlework store. It is kind of a dream of mine and I'm having such a
hard time finding employment, I wonder if I should look at employing
myself!
I just have a...
