Hi everyone,
Now the problem of decreasing has been solved, who can tell me
how we figure out increases???
I have 35 stitches on my needle for the ribbing on a sleeve.
I have to increase to 49 stitches and place them evenly around, so
that means add 14 stitches. What is the easiest way to figure...

Thinking Caps!! by
Slick Hippy chick
Thanks to all of you who helped with the math problem...Now, I forgot to
tell you what I'm making....it's a vest, it was originally from
Whiteliesdesign.com ---but the lacy pattern was to loopy and sloppy for my
liking. I changed the gauge and went to smaller needles..from 10 1/2 to 8!

Rock Star Scarf - Shelagh by
JW
Hey! I forgot to ask when I wrote about your cold weather, but what yarns
did you use for your rock star scarf that's posted in your photos? That is
awesome! I want to make one for my daughter and one for my niece for
Valentine's Day. I love how yours turned out.

OK, who is the math wiz out there????......here is the question. If I have
324 stitches on my needles and I need to decrease 50, what math formula do I
use to figure this! Thankfully, I have the knitting math program, it
figures it for me.....but for the life of me I can't come up with...
