I just posted three one-inch (height/diameter) cane pieces on eBay - two are
'portraits' and one is a cool spider web. I wish I had the names of the
artists to share with you...)
These are not newly made, but need just some body-heat and some loving
squeezes..you know the...

AD: Polymer clay items on eBay by
kelly
Due to my rent being raised $225 a month, I'm selling some things I wouldn't
ordinarily let go of. I've put lots of Beadwork/Bead and Button mags up,
Maureen Carlson's Faces video (V. 2) and will also put up Gwen Gibson's
Ancient Images by the end of the day. If there is anything anyone might...

elasticlay? by
Lukabara
I read about this or something similar --something with elasticity-- in a
jewelry magazine.
And then I think Barbara Maguire, on the Carol D. show, mentioned it
(without an actual
name) yesterday.
I've been keeping an eye out when I go in Michaels, which is pretty much the
only craft
store I visit...

EoPC by

Maybe Richard was right; apparently this group is far enough below the radar
that no one from the National Guild has posted that EoPC has been cancelled:
From the EoPC discussion board at Polymer Clay Central (and several other
boards):
Dear Polymer Clay Community,
It is with deep regret that the...

Elsebeth,
I sent a long e-mail to you at the address I saw in the newsgroup:

In the e-mail I answered the questions you asked and also gave references to
more pages at my website which describe those things in more detail (like the

Pearlex question by
[email protected]
I recently made some black textured beads with pearlex powder rubbed
on the surface. As far as I can tell, the powder hasn't rubbed off
after baking, but is it necessary to seal the surface for long term
wear? I'd prefer to avoid it if possible, since it wouldn't work well
with these beads.

LA DOLL CLAY by
mel7474
Does anyone know where I can buy this clay ?
I live in the UK.
I've never used air drying clay before and wouldn't mind trying it out.
Also - anyone here used it before , what did you think of it ?
Thanks
Mel :)

On-line shopping in the UK ? by
ES
Hi, I'm fairly new to polymer clay, if I leave out the not-so-pretty
attempts to help the kids YEARS ago with their fimo-scupltures. I was
recently directed to some sites where really beautiful beads were on
display. It was completely breathtaking. I now try making my own beads, but
find it hard to...

LaDoll clay by
Sherry Bailey
This group is for discussion of polymer (oven bake) clay. While there
may be someone here who uses La Doll as well, as an air dry clay, that
can't be assumed. Just in case nobody answers you, that would be why.
(Google couldn't retrieve the original message to attach, sorry.)

Reviving Sculptey glaze by
Quin The Crafter
Question:
Is there anyway to revive "Sculpey glaze" ??
I used part of a new bottle, then sealed it up & put away, when I went to
use it again last week, it had gelled in the bottle. I find this most
annoying because I paid $3.00 for it 4 months ago and only used a few drops
of it. My last...

Polymer clay cane covered eggs by
Wanda
Does anyone know how to make the cane covered eggs? I am not clear on
how to put the cane slices on the egg. I worked with the slices on
some small clay beads that I figured I would use for earrings but they
turned out so distorted. I have no idea how to get them on the
surface of the item and...
