me...

Birthday s.e.x. by
Joan Erickson
Yesterday I hit the big 5-0. sigh. There were a couple of bright
spots, though. My family had a party for me on Sunday. The brighter
spots among the presents: my brother (3 yrs. younger) decided that since
I was now "old", I deserved an old present. He brought in a huge box
that he'd picked up...

Anchor Ophir conversion by
Addie
Hi all,
I just bought a magazine with a wonderful anniversary sampler but it calls
for Anchor Ophir threads which I *know* I will not be able to find anywhere
close to home. Does anyone know of a conversion from these threads (which I
had never heard of before!) to something like DMC or...

Off topic but deadly important by
Jenn Liace
I normally don't do things like this..... so please bear with me a
moment.
Today, March 17, 2004, the Chicago area has suffered the third loss of
a child's life in less than 30 days because of lack of knowledge of
train safety. In all three cases, the children struck by commuter
trains were...

Korean Coat/Kimono XStitch Pattern? by
Judi Canaan
I have a number of kimono counted cross-stitch patterns, but they are
Japanese I believe. I do know that women's clothing in Korea is different,
a full skirt with a Hanbok (spelling) bolero-type jacket/blouse on top.
But, there also is a kimono/coat worn by women (at least if what I am
finding on...

Board cutters by
anne
What would y'all recommend for cutting utensils to get backing boards to right
size?
Foam board is too thick for the scissors I've got on hand; ditto for the
adhesive boards. My el cheapo exacto knive can score a straight line but it
doesn't go all the way through.
HELP!!

I just wanted to let you know that your email seems to have been spoofed. I
realize these messages usually don't originate with the name in the address,
but i thought you might want a head's up to check your system anyway.
Sorry for the OT folks.

Final bid: Was Man! What Stash by
Linda Wright
I just had to know - the final bid was $580.88, plus shipping. That
works out to about 23 cents a skein - I hope there's lots of metallics
and rayons in there to make it worth it!
