6x6 exchange - Feb. squares received from Sarah Carter by
B Vaughan
I was away for a few days and when I returned my February squares were
waiting for me. They're very nice! Thanks, Sarah!
I'm sorry, I don't think I'll get mine in the mail for a few more
days. I've been extremely busy this month. I've also decided to skip
the March exchange because I'll be away...

OT How things are by
Christine in Kent, Garden of England
Hi everyone, I've been here reading but not feeling much like posting, and
I've been really busy too.
My Mum's funeral was as good a day as those things can be, my poor Dad was
alternately distraught and "keeping a stiff upper lip". A typical older
Englishman, doesn't do emotional stuff too well. ...

Sorry by
Lina
I haven't been around for a while.
I've been taking a bit of a mental break.
Everyone here is fairly well. Alena has an upper respiratory infection and
sounds like Golum from LoTR when she coughs, but other than that we're
great!
I'll try to catch up on the boards as soon as I can!
Lina (and...

Diced hose? by
Slinky
I'm making diced hose - not TRUE diced hose in the sense of Argyll's
with all those bobbins and whatnot. Two color rib (and what a pain
that is to knit!) followed by a leg that alternates five rounds of 2
stitches of each color and then switches color positions for the next
5 rounds and so on. ...

Socks - the more outrageous the better by
Andee
Hi all
I am looking for outrageous socks to knit. I have managed to spin a
reasonable amount of yarn (fairly fine!) and want to make a totally
different sock - not one that will necessarily be worn! Has anyone got any
ideas or could you point me in the right direction? So far nothing is...

Is posting a link to a commercial website OK here? by
Rachelle
Hi.
My name is Rachelle, and I'm a loooong time knitter from Australia
with over 40 years experience.
I've just put a website with hand knitting patterns to buy (well, one
pattern at the moment, off to a slow start but more coming soon).
I'd like to tell people about it, but I don't want to...

Yes, I do it on purpose (WAY OT but amusing nonetheless) by
Slinky
When I purchased my Exploder, er, Explorer, I purchased the ESP for
it. Past experience shows that one major event (transmission or
engine blow-out) will more than justify the expense of the ESP.
My ESP is due to expire (on both miles and time, for a wonder, I
didn't outdrive the timed coverage)...

~sniff~ words escape me..... (another pkg!) by
Noreen's Knit*che
U.P.S. has just delivered still another parcel, and I am flabbergasted,
totally.
This one was from KH in MN (my 'sis' to those in the know, grin).
Tears are streaming down my face....
There is: the most gorgeous knit shawlette/coverlette (??) in a very
lacey, airy pattern, and the colour is what...
