Emin by The Laws
Now I understand the joke about the bedspred and embroider. I never heard of her or saw any of her work. Found her in Google, thanks Interesting artist, not works that I want hung in my living room, but surely art. Kay -- All outgoing mail is scanned by Norton Anti Virus software.

Please Help (con't) by Diane
I checked the floral fabric and there is green in it, but it's not just the green that's offset, it's the purple too. It does sort of match the blue/purple blocks, it's just duller. I went to the Rag Shop and Walmart again yesterday and could not find a subsitute to go with the rest of the colors....

Next week I'll be in Boston attending a technology conference and sure would like to fit in a visit to a local quilt shop; can anyone here suggest one? Specifically, I'll be in the area of Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. -Irene

will get up pics of accomplishments tomorrow. Enjoyed myself immensly. The guild sponsored a retreaet to the Farmstead Inn in Shipshewana, Indiana -- a big Amish community. Seems so quilty to follow a horse-drawn buggy into town. Not to mention that EVERYWHERE you turn quilts are used as...

Not really OT ...or is it? by Julia Altshuler
I used to have a friend who would bring me clothes from the second hand store and broken items with which to decorate my house. Once she presented me with a torn decorative umbrella that she was sure would look great in my apartment. I tried saying politely that she shouldn't have, that I had...

Hi by Carol Johnson
I was just wondering how you are doing. Is your shoulder improving? How does your job change with the end of the school year? Wayne, Alex and I will be heading to Corvallis on Saturday for Marta's graduation on Sunday. It is hard to believe our kids are young adults now! Marta has a job at AVI...

value in fabric by Cheryl in Oz
You can buy "Ruby Beholders" (pieces of red perspex) to look through for helping to determine colour values too now. They work, but I made a couple from old embroidery frames with some coloured cellophane paper - double thickness, one set of red and one of green. The green is to use when looking...

I took out two cardboard men, unfolded them and stood them at the rear of my car facing oncoming traffic. They look so life...
