House Update, OT/CP by
CNYstitcher

rebuilt. We're talking several thousand dollars worth of work. So, we
retracted our...

Housework or quilting? by
Joan
When it comes down to the wire, when it comes to housework vs. quilting,
housework is dead last. I don't need any excuses. But, sometimes necessity
is the better part of valor. What this all means is that my dear hubby
discovered a spot of dust....

Okay, the wiff and kid are now down in Houston for the show. Wiff is
wearing a black and white patchwork jacket, kid is wearing her creation
that is mauve, sand and grey with stencilled flowers. Kid has already
been stopped multiple times and photographed (jacket is really
impressive, then again,...

I am planning to attend Houston in the fall. Anyone else going?
Where is everyone staying? Has anyone purchased a block of rooms for our
group?
I don't want to be by alone. I...

Any last minute Houston IQF go-ers who need a room? I'm going to bunking in
with 2 other friends, but I have a reservation for a double room at the
Hyatt Regency downtown. If you need a room, I can let you know what my
confirmation # is, and we could switch the reservation to your name. I will

Houston 2006 by
shhdesigns
Hi Everyone
I've finally sat down and started a journal of my trip to Houston this year.
I hope you enjoy the adventures we had before and after the show.
It was fun chatting with Butterfly, Joshua, Tricia and Michael. I'm sorry I
missed the rest of the RCTQer's that were at the show. There...

Before leaving Corpus Christi we had breakfast at the City Diner. Good
food, they have old high school pictures of various Corpus Christi alum.
Farah Fawcett had two photos hanging over the entrance.
As we headed down south along SR 77 we saw mile and miles of flat land with
scrub trees...

Houston 2006-3 by

Blue skies and a slightly cooler day greeted us as we drove into Houston.
We found our hotel and checked in by 1130, the room was going to be ready
when we returned.
We decided to check La Galleria, the big Houston mall just around the block.
It is huge with many arms and lots of shops. We...

Houston 2006-4 by

Cloudy skies and some rain showers greeted us this morning. On the news
last night they talked about Galveston hosting a Lone Star Biker Convention
welcoming more than 250,000 bikers to the island! We were hoping that most
of them would be gone by the time we arrived.
They still had a lot...

It's "Girls Weekend" !!! The boys are gone (Scout camping) and it's
just DD and I. She wants to do flea markets tomorrow so I thought we
would try to find a quilt shop or two also. But I don't seem to be
having much luck finding one, much less two. I did find one in Spring
but their hours say...

Houston Festival 2003 is right around the corner! by
KCK
Oh, where... oh, where... has my summertime gone? I mean, OMG, it's the
end of September already and I haven't *truly* finished unpacking from
my summer travels (don't ask).
But I digress...
If you're going to be attending the big show THIS year, but haven't yet
told us about it, let's talk!
