What on earth do I do with this? by John
Here is a question for all you knowledgeable folks. Somebody gave me about 5+ yards of Stretch Blue Chambray. Aside from the obvious of making a pair of hot pants for the entire Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader squad, what in the world could I use this stuff for. I don't use stretch stuff for anything so...

EQ5 question by Susan Laity Price
I want to create a pattern using a tumbler block. I see how to do the one patch quilt and see the tumbler shape. My problem is how to make the tumbler my size. I can make the tumbler 3" high and 3" wide but the side angles don't match mine. My tumbler is 3" across base, 3" high and 1.5" at top....

Virginia Tech blocks ? by Kay Ahr[_2_]
How do I get myself into these things. Made a few blocks for comfort quilts being made for Virginia Tech shooting victims. Now I don't seem to have an address to send them to and the coordinator must be on vacation or something -- she's not responding to emails. Anybody have the address? Or...

new quilter Braves Fan - Pictures of 2 choices of design by Braves Fan
Ok... Here are my two choices. I really like the choice one, but something isn't quite right about it. So I think I'm going to end up going with choice 2. I just like the 4 box squares in the choice 1. If anyone can come up with a way to even it out or find out what makes it look like...

Pantograph Patterns by Pauline
Hi, Does anyone have any good sources for pantograph patterns. I've found a few, but I saw one today that has about 4 different designs on a roll for $25. Of course, when I went to the site, all that showed up with those little boxes with red x's inside of them. Free would be even better, but...

Dull Gray Pink by Polly Esther
Fabric shopping in the Swamp has to be done online. For the most part, it goes very nicely but last week two fabrics I ordered are not a pretty sight. Instead of the pastel pure pink that they appeared to be on my monitor, they are downright ugly. Both of them are a sad muddy mood that's...

completely OT - asthma and ozone update by Karen, Queen of Squishies
I am improving, blue lips are now only occasionally mottled throughout the day, and I can think more clearly, am not so tired always, chest pains gone, breathing better, etc. Which air filter did I finally decide on? NONE!!! Yep. See, DH was out of town when I started to collapse and couldn't...

Borders by Gothikka
Could someone give me some advice on adding borders to a wall hanging ( Wuh? ), please? I used 2.5" strips for my settings on a Halloween WH for my daughter and I would like to add a bright orange jack-o-lantern fabric border, but I feel that it may need a black solid narrow inner border to offset...

Suggestions wanted by Julia in MN
I am currently at hand quilting a wall hanging applqued with desert "things". I have quilted around all the applique motifs and the sashing. I am working on the borders now. I'm not sure how to quilt the background of the blocks. I am considering either echo-quilting around each of the applique...

Is there an easy way to enlarge a blooming ninepatch quilt? by [email protected]
I want to enlarge a blooming ninepatch quilt to queen size. In the book, Traditions with a Twist, the size is 72"x82" without borders. Have any of you just added a 'straight' outside border w/o having to begin in the center?
