have it finished in the next day or so. The last row will be a long one of
crochet edging with a fine hook. After that, blocking it.... when it's
ready, I'll have a link to pictures!!!
I see the light at...

Yarn envy! by
Leah
Hi everyone,
My good friend who's into trying new things, decided to check out a
local LYS for Brown Sheep's Naturespun for a felting project, since
she thought the Lion Brand Felting Wool sold at Michael's was too
limited in colors, and they said they "didn't carry Brown Sheep".
They then led...

javawizard
Hi Folks,
I'm adding some more converters to www.fast-math.org. I'm
wondering if people working with knitting or any sort of needlework
have need for any math conversions that are not already there? If you
have a good let me know, and I'll add it.
Thanks,
- Jeff

OT - Just sharing... or venting by
Not Likely
So, most of you know that Matthew and myself have been having a loooong run
of not so nice luck over the last few years... it seems that everything went
downhill after my Mom passed away 5 1/2 years ago (Matthew and I were just
talking about that yesterday). Well yesterday morning I was sitting...

I want to share with you by
Shillelagh
a lovely couple of hours this afternoon.
It was warm and sunny, around 22°C, so I took a snack of crackers, cheese
and a glass of wine out to my screened porch. My little cockatiel came with
me, along with the latest issue of Canadian Home & Country. This is when
you wish the day would last...

Needle sizes? by
DAB
I bought some Addi Turbo's size 1 circs at least that's what it
says on the package, anyway they looked the same size as my 2's so I used a
needle gauge and the tip won't fit in the number 1 slot but does in number 2
but not snug like the wooden dpns I have. I tried my number 2's and they...

Woven knit rug/lawnchair yarn by
A A
A few years ago my parents got me three colors of woven rug yarn to
replace the seats on lawn chairs. I lost the directions to replace the
seats on the lawnchairs and now have used the woven rug yarn to start a
crocheted rug but all I get is a single crochets thing resembling a
basket. My mother...

Abstract by
MaciejZabawa
In this section I would like to introduce all the works which began my
adventure with intensive looking for my own artistic identity. They
all come from my efforts to find my own way and individual style,
against trends that already exist in the arts. First board that I made
is "Second me" ....

Question when you slip as if to Purl by
starla torres
When the pattern says to slip as if to Purl, is the yarn in the front or the
back. I always forget. I need to write it down somewhere.

Yarn for socks by
[email protected]
I was wondering- has anybody here used Alpaca yarn to make socks
with? I've used a lot of wool, and was wondering if Alpaca had
similar qualities, such as being water-repellent and holding in body
heat. Would Alpaca wear as well as wool? Has anyone tried it?
Thanks!
