Wool Washing by
LLWeisse
I've just received several bags of unwashed wool from a friend and am
preparing to wash it this coming weekend. I was wondering what's generally
used when washing medium grade wool in bulk.

Ranee,
I need to drop out of the NYCO project. I will still be working on my
Cobweb Lace Wedding Ring Shawl, but can't endure any pressure to report

Just a little S.E.X. by
Slinky
I spent some birthday money yesterday and had a little S.E.X. at the
bookstore. Richard Rutt's "History of Handknitting" came home with
me, as did a nifty little book entitled "Knit One, Felt Too". Similar
in its content to "Felted Knits", but written in a style I prefer.
She uses a lot of...

Handspun Spot Dyed Socks by
Cher
Hi all, anyone tried this?? I am intrigued with the pattern for socks in
the Twisted Sisters sock workbook, which Slinky sent to me. You basically
spot two or more colours onto a white(or other colour roving) and seal it
into clingfilm and steam for 20mins. I'm trying it with Koolaid...

How to pick yarn by

I just learned how to crochet last week. I was at Michael's because

single stich, a lap blanket. I want the yarn to be soft but I just
don't know what type of yarn would be good. Also how much yarn do I
need? I am not using...

newbie knitting question by
Kristy Malarkey
Okay, I decided to learn to knit for the year 2004 and so far I have the
knit stitch down, but its really tight. Can someone share a trick or
something to loosen the stitch a little? I want to get this one down before
I try the purl and then try working the two together.
Thank you
Kristy
