Venting against spinners, dyers, and yarnshops by Agres
Just got a new "yarn card" from my favorite yarn shop in Canada. The colors have changed, the texture has changed, only the names remain the same. Moral: If you see a yarn that you like, buy it all. It will not be there later. Aaron

The workers do a very good job, but there is much to do. The roof is ready, and the chimney "metal cover" also. 5 new windows are "in" and 2 new ones...

Intarsia and fair isle by Knitterbugs
Hi everyone; Does anyone know of a knitting magazine that has intarsia and/or fair isle patterns in it? I know they all do once in a while, but I'm looking for one that has these patterns more often. I remember years ago they had more intarsia patterns. I used to get McCalls needlecrafts...

Crochet Snowflakes by Elizabeth Shack
I'm finally getting around to making crochet snowflakes, after I bought the book and thread two years ago. Does fabric stiffener dry white or clear? I'm wondering if I use colored thread or white-and-metallic thread, if the stiffener will show. Also, do snowflakes always look horrible before...

What is going on with Micros**t? by SlinkyToy
They're called worms. Some people are too oblivious to their existence, or too uncaring, to disinfect and immunize their systems. Microsoft is responsible because their products are so full of security holes that any bored teenybopper with c0d|ng sk|11z can write a bug that will infect Outlook or...

Me and my miserable memory by Sorola Pinja
I have not told you yet of my newest hotpad. I knitted it just a while ago. Its destination will be the place I work in. Purple and green and garter stitch. I handled those 2 strands of yarn as one yarn. So...can you imagine how the hotpad looks like? I like doing them. Easy to knit and mindless....
