Ok, this will be a weird queston but I need to know. How is glue made? How are glue sticks made? I need to know for a class I am in. I tried web sites but can't get any were. Please help.

I bought a beautifull oil candle which contains parrafin oil and a fiberglass wick. Problem is that it just doesnt stay lit. It makes a flame when i light it, and seconds later it goes out...what am i doing wrong?

Recently I got two goat hides, and prepared them for drumskin. Two weeks in water solution of Ca(OH)2. Now they are smooth, clear, but their stench is awful. Is there any way to reduce it except putting them off for 5-6 months? (I still doubt that it's enough)
