Patrick
I posted earlier today the next tiny carving after the chain several years
ago that was compared to the date on a dime . . . wish I had more time to
dedicate to carving. You will find it on the
alt.binaries.pictures.woodworking newsgroup.
This one was to get the ribbons twist correctly-ish...

Any carvers here? by
Dave jackson
Hi, I'm going to learn to carve. Just wondering if any seasoned carvers
hang out here, or is this group just a place where everyone else posts spam
and other OT junk. I've been watching for a few weeks, and haven't seen
much carving activity! If there are some real folks out there, I'd be...

Anyone Carving Foam? by
GaryR52
As in expanded polystyrene (EPS) or polyurethane foam, that is. I'm planning
to give this a try as a core material for fiberglass sculpture. Also, it can
be finished with a number of other materials, including Design Cast
(http://www.design-cast.com/index.php).

asking for advice by
dnapoe
Hi all. Got a question to ask. I've been working with carving walking sticks
and some staves among other things and I've been trying out using a dremel
tool to carve some designs into the wood. I found a few "templates" online
(a wolf head and some entertwined dragons) but I'm looking for more...
