Embellisher is mine by Sunny[_2_]
I have sold the serger for enough money to go buy my embellisher. Whoopeeeeeeeeeeeee! It may be wrong to kick up my heels with happiness about this, but I think Janae wouldn't mind. I found a letter she left me on her laptop (which she left me in the will). It's hysterical, meant to be read once...

Has a quilt ever made you cry? by Leslie & The Furbabies in MO.
Has a quilt ever made you cry? Were you crying with frustration, joy, relief, sorrow.... whatever? Tell us about it! Polly and Pat on her hill still tease me- many years later- about the log cabin blocks that brought me to a weeping hissy fit. I'm sewing log cabin blocks right now and that's...

Stashbuilding for a good cause by Nann Hilyard
We are starting a Boys & Girls Club in our community. (I say "we" because I have gotten myself on the board. We really, really need a safe, supervised, positive place for kids to go after school. (We welcome kids @ the library but when they get bored, they get restless, and then they misbehave...

Help With A Quilt by Sharon
I'm drawing a complete blank here - sometimes I wonder about myself. I'm in the process of making a quilt - so far I have a 55" x 55" square which is to be set on point. What size triangles would I make for the sides to square it up? I know we have some really good math people and expert quilters...

My sewing machine is in place once more. by Phyllis Nilsson
In trying to lower my sewing machine into its cabinet, the head came off the hinges and I could not put it back in place. You gave me some good advice and I did try to use a board to hold the hinges in place while I put it back on the hinges, but I just couldn't make it work. My son came over...

Do any of you have a use for Universal SM needles?? I have a good number. Let me know if you need some. The first couple responses I get, I will send you several packages of needles as soon as you send a stamped envelope. I think probably three stamps would be enough to send a few of these. Don't...
