basting Question. by
Shirley Shone
I have got the use of a large table this coming Friday to baste my
quilt.
I am using a basting gun with the small tags.
How far apart should I baste it together. My top is mainly 6 inch
squares.
Thanks

OT Sad Pet News by
CATS
You might notice my sig block has changed.
My beloved Enness passed away tonight. The heat this week
really took its toll and she was suffering progressive heart
failure. I could not stand to think of her being distressed
or in pain so we took a trip to our local vet who confirmed
that there...

It's Miller Time by

Hey guys this is a homemade craft of mine I spent a minute putting it

I crafted this video together today in my head as a metal worker, when
I got home I did some needle work and later turned some wood, after
that I made a scrap book and after that I made a...

A note of thanks. by

I want to take the time to give a thanks, to each and every one of you
who have responded to all of my postings with helpful ideas and
encouragements. It is rather isolated when you are of the (other)

Free embellishments or free jeans??? by
Leslie & The Furbabies in MO.
Today I made my weekly (I wish!) pilgrimage to Wal-mart for the
necessities of life- dog food, dog treats, people food, cleaning
supplies, etc. I saw a sale rack in the ladies department with a "75%
off" sign. Being a true-blue American bargain shopper to the core, it
drew me like a magnet. I...

Square Kufic by
Jack Campin - bogus address
Anybody here seen a quilt that used Square Kufic lettering?
It's an ancient Arabic letterform commonly used for carved
inscriptions on buildings - often formed into designs that
look a bit like a maze or crossword puzzle.
I have tried Google. Not a lot of help. I can't even find
a full set of...

I'm scared to death of it. Anyone know where I can get lessons in South

I read all the messages quickly earlier on today and I think someone
asked about my Partridge in a Pear Tree block in my sampler quilt.
(however I did go to sleep early evening, so may have dreamed it!) I've
been all through the posts, but can't find the message!
Anyway, if I didn't dream the...

Well, yesterday was a mix of rain, sleet, freezing rain and snow. Our power
was out for about 19 hours.... (could have been a lot worse!)
We pretty much got things chipped and shoveled off this morning....and now
it's 30 degrees and raining again. Here we go! At least I have the
flashlights...
