I have two beautiful glass paperweights made by Milropa Studios. Does
anyone know anything about this studio, and have any idea of their

Mirror Photos? by
Brian Gardner
I have done this, and youcan do it very precisely and cleanly by masking the
area to be removed, stripping the sealing paint with a paint stripper or

need a professional to cut a beveled window panel. Carved/engraved/cut glass. by
Brian Gardner
There is a historic home where I live that has a broken sidelight. The
original panel is unusual. Rather than a leaded panel, an artist took a
rectangular glass panel, beveled the outside edges, and then cut a
curved.geometric pattern into the glass plate. I have seen a few similar
panels; my...

beware of cabinet company by
[email protected]
All,
beware of a cabinet company called Gourmet Kitchens Design based out of
Sacramento, CA and has an office in Danville, ca. The owner Rick is a
crook, who writes bad checks. He is untrustworthy and does not do
anything he says he is contracted for. His customer service is the
worst and when...

With a nod to art nouveau, Wirkkala’s design of the Chanterelles range

Crackle Glass Cylinder? by
brrian
I'm in need of four crackle glass cylinders, nine inches in diamter by
about 9 1/2 inches tall. They'll be used as lenses for a lighting
project. Even better--I need them in three weeks.
I'm wondering where to start? I guess glass blowers, because if I
understand the process, they'd be blown,...

Insulating Panels by
Byron Wells
Hey all...
Have some questions about insulating panels.
I've always made tub windows etc to set just inside the insulated units.
They are self supporting and are held to the frame with 4-8 clips. makes it
easy to take out and clean between if needed. You ALSO don't have to worry
about blown seals...
