A Finish!!! by
Magic Mood Jeep
A friend is getting married today, so I made this! Finished it today after
I took these pictures and realized I left the "tree trunks" by the church
off!!! Good thing I didn't frame it!

A Finish. by
Queen City x-stitcher
I have finished Lady Scarlet's Secret Garden. I should have pictures up
shortly. It was an easy piece including the hand finishing. Now I need
to do a thimble pod and find a ladybug thimble for it. That will make a
nice display with the Ivory piano key measure and floss winder that are...

A Framing Question by
Russell Miller
Can anyone tell me if framing is done the same way for all needlepoint?
I am stitching a picture onto 32 ct. silk mesh and stitching with Eterna
silk threads. Can this be safely 'stretched' and pinned like the work I
do with D.M.C. cotton on Aida? I've worked so long on this one
particular piece...

A froggy day on Cape Cod by
Felice Friese
I've just spent several hours frogging a whole lot of Eterna silk out of
some 28 linen, and I need to whine!
I couldn't decide whether to use 1 or 2 threads over 2, and I hadn't worked
with Eterna before. So I did the first section, which was yellow, with 1
thread as a test. Looked fine to me! And...

A fun day! Books and floss! by
Cheryl Isaak
Yesterday my Mom drove up from the Cape (of Cod) and brought a box of books
and two of my baby blankets and some books for DD.
In the box of books were some fishing books for Dson, some other random
books for DH and some of my old books from high school and college. And some
of my favorites from...

Why Females Should Avoid a 'Girls Night Out' After They are Married!
The other night I was invited out for a night with 'the girls'. I told
my husband that I would be home by midnight, 'I promise!' Well, the
hours passed and the margaritas went down way too easy. Around 3 am, a
bit...

A Funny Experience seeing My Design....... by
Lula
I had the funniest experience in our local JoAnn's Fabrics Superstore
this past weekend.
In a Halloween card display at the front of the store, I saw an upper
edge of a very colorful card that seemed to stand out from all the
other cards.
The card featured ghosts flying out of a haunted library...

A Funnybone Tickler! by
Cathy From KY in CA
A young minister in Kentucky, was asked by a funeral director to hold
a graveside service for a
homeless man who had no family or friends. The funeral was to be held
at A new cemetery way back
in the country, and this man would be the first to be buried there. He
wasn't familiar with the...

A Good visit by
bobbieviorritto
Had a wonderful visit with Cheryl this morning. We got a chance to catch
up and share some tea and pastries. Cheryl was able to find some buttons
for her projects in mom's excess (poke box).
It is such a shame that life is so busy that friends have to see so
little of each other....

A good weekend by
Brenda Lewis
The family (minus the sheltie) traveled to Fairborn, OH, this weekend
for a second cousin's graduation. We are the only relatives on her
mother's side of the family who live on this side of the Mississippi and
are young/healthy enough to travel so we got to represent the whole
extended family. ...

A Great Book! by
Suzanne
I'm always on the lookout for new projects, so I'm always checking out
people's sigs (where they often list WIPs) and looking at older posts
through Google. Quite a few times I saw people posting about a design
called Amid Amish Life, and it sounded really interesting. I searched
all over the net...

A great opportunity and HI again by
Naomah[_2_]
Hi all
I was on here quite a while back. I was going through Chemo. That's
all behind me now except for the permanant side effects it left and
all the pills I still have to take.
Anyway, I opened a tiny needlework shop in the corner of a larger
craft shop in October. Then they closed it the...

A Happy Dance,..and stuff by
Gillian Murray
While we were away this last week....and with NO Internet to divert me,
I finished RK Portfolio Coconut Palm. Now I have to start and finish
the Date Palm to have the pair to take to the framer to go in the living
room. They pick up the trim on the area rug on our tile floor.
I am almost...
