stiffner for crochet snowflakes???? by gundoc
I am crocheting some snowflakes for gifts. I don't know anything about stiffner (is there any things that I need to make the snowflakes hard at home??). I know glue is one of them. My mother in law loves crochet snowflakes. I just crochet 3 snowflakes so far (will make few more). Marcie

Can somebody tell me where all the LNS have gone? My nearest store is 20 miles from here, not a great distance, but next door would be better! :)) I was just wondering....are there so few of us stitchers around that there is no market for our craft? Yet it that was the case, why has our local...

click button on ott light by Martha[_7_]
I have a desk lamp from Ott light. Model #pl9768. The click button to turn it on kept sticking and last night it completely stopped. I took apart the base and looked inside. It looks like an easy fix, but I can't figure out how to get the click button working again. It just looks like the pieces...

OTT LIGHT PROBLEM by Lenora C
Ok all you Ott light owners out there. Have you ever had a problem with your ott light turning off all by itself but then when you flip the switch it turns right back on? NO I do not have any ghosts. I was wondering if this was a problem with getting too hot or the bulb going out. Lenora IN...

Piecework Magazine by Chip Orange
I think this issue of Piecework may be my last. Just does not have enough counted thread for me. It seems like "The Needleworker" section is now gone, which was the only reason I was subscribing. Does anyone know if it is gone for good? I am really looking for a magazine like "The...

FireHouse Angel business by Gillian Murray
Vic, I am not the level of stitcher that you need, and my eyes are a little iffy. However, I would be love to contribute monetarily to purchasing some of the supplies, or the cost of postage, whatever. Then I will have felt that I contributed, in a VERY small way. Maybe it would be best if there...

Grub Stitch Rose by Dianne Lewandowski

I've been considering buying an e-reader and would love to know if anyone has one and can give me a heads up on which might be better. I've been reading reviews and they all seem very similar. I'm only interested in downloading books and reading them. Don't need a lot of storage because the...
