Almost made it to LQS by julia sidebottom
Jerry 'was' going to take me to the new LQS I mentioned before. The catch was that I would drive and he would ride along with me... That sounded like a good idea. I figured if I ran into any problems he was there and could take over. Well we had a problem. the alternator on the car went out on us...

almost ready to go... by Jessamy
tomorrow I will be off on my first quilting retreat :-D my stash will be guarded by my Oldest DS's Blue monsters - we adults can't see them but they are certainly exceedingly good at making the thing you want disappear. As I'd like to find *some* of my stash on return please don't want something...

Well, the shed is done! DH and James worked like stink, I made coffee and helped a bit. The shed has walls properly clad, a good solid roof, and doors that lock! It also has lighting and electricity. Tomorrow we shift the stuff into it. We'd never have manged it without hiring the nail gun. I...

alphabet block/ mistified one by dreamboat
In order for your abc block quilt to work you have to make a 30-block quilt with 5 blocks across and 6 blocks down with 4 blank blocks on the corners. You could put a design on the blank blocks. dreamboat

alphabet blocks by Mystified One
When doing alphabet blocks, I can't make the set of 26 come out even. No matter how hard I try, I end up with one left or one blank space. I even tried figuring out how to make the blocks with alternating blocks, no luck. I've already got the ABC blocks, so I can't combine two at the end. ...
