AAAAAAACK, definitely on topic by
Jenn/Jalynne
Have you ever finished a quilt top, basted, then started quilting, when you
realize that ONE little tiny square in one block was sewn in the wrong way?
And was it near the center of the quilt? What did you do about it? (in my
case, i have to fix it, because it is a quilt that is going to be sold,...

Aaaaahhh... Peace! by
Kate Dicey
I love my husband very VERY much.
I adore my son to ridiculous lengths.
Both are intelligent and delightful company.
But recently the weather has been iffy, and today is warm, spring-like
(about time!), and pleasant, so the two of them have gone out for a
shortish hike (about 4 miles across...

AAaaargh! Pat, Applique Help! by
Tina
Ok Pat, you so wonderfully gave me the right start to getting this
silly butterfly done.
But I am stuck again. I had to make a new butterfly body and now I
have to make another one.
Last night, when I got frustrated and gave up, I left my pieces out on
the table, thinking that maybe if I just...

Aaaaargh! Bad Quilting Day Question by
[email protected]
I tried to post this about 15-minutes ago, but an error occurred when I
clicked the "Post Message" button. Hopefully, the original posing will
not show up.
I am making a snowball/9-patch quilt using finished 9-inch blocks. I
designed the simple quilt in EQ5, mostly to make it easier to play...

Aaaack! Ran out of fabric! by
Carolyn McCarty
I finally, thanks to all of your grand suggestions, got to sit down and sew
yesterday. Working on a quilt for a nephew. However, it looks like I will
run short of one fabric. It is a blender print Optical Mums, by Kona (I
think) in shades of gold. Not yellow, brown, tan, chocolate or...

AAAACK!! by
Karlee in Kansas
OMG, its snowing. Not just a little, but a lot. I'm not a fan of snow,
and to add insult to injury, its blowing. SIGH This is the perfect day
to sit in front of "my" window and sew blocks and barbie clothes, and then
plop myself in the recliner and work on my embroidery.
Off to take pics of...

Aaaarrrrgggghhhh!!! Frustration -- mostly OT by
Sandy
This is only "mostly OT" because it also affects my web site (with my
quilts, of course G) and access to RCTQ.
I've had an EarthLink email address for a long time -- almost eight
years. However, a few years ago I switched to DSL from dial-up, which
necessitated a partnership between...

Aaaarrrrgh! by
Maureen Wozniak
I just spent the entire 3-day weekend pin basting a batik quilt. My fingers
at the moment look like raw meat. I had to go buy more pins twice---
finished up that pinning just a few minutes ago. Took the sandwhich off the
table and, despite all the smoothing and clamping I did as I went along,...

AAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH! by
KJ
I posted a photo of the top I just finished. When I went back into the
studio and looked at it on the design wall, I found a block that had been
pieced with the wrong fabric. This pattern had a very specific fabric
placement diagram. As I leaned into my closet to retrieve the bag of...

Aack! Need fabric help! by
Kate in MI
I've decided to go back and finish up a couple of UFO's -- before starting
anything new.
Some of them are UFO's because they needed some reworking (I must have been
on something to have things so wonky!)
So I get this one almost finished.... and realize I am short about a FQ's
worth of...

Aargh! It's so NOT ME!! by
hfw
Has this happened to you? Love the fabric, put the thing together, and just
can't relate to it? Maybe I need to live with it for a while, but at the
moment, it looks like a stranger came in and sat down. It's the first photo
in the WIP album...

AARRGGHH! Stupid me! I deleted some addresses I need! Zo and Charlie! by
Kate Dicey
Help! In a fit of over enthusiasm, I deleted the contents of my inbox
without copying a couple of addresses out first! I managed to blitz Zo
and Charlie! Pretty please - could Zo send hers again, and in case
Charlie misses this, it's her new welsh address I need!
I think the paint fumes have got...

aarrgghh!!!!@%*$#! This ever happen to you? by
Terbear
I cut all my squares out for my latest quilt, all but 20, cause I calculated
incorrectly...I had placed all the pieces out on the living room floor &
everything "looked" great. So, after I "slept" on what other fabric to
include in my quilt, to make up for the 20 missing blocks. I got up,...

Firstly Merry Christmas to all of you who celebrate the Christian
festival.
Just spent a very frustrating afternoon trying to piece what seemed to
be a very simple cushion for my DIL for her gift. Cut out the
templates, cut fabric and pieced it as best I could using the Spartan
instructions in the...

Aarrgh! A mistake! by
Edna Pearl
I just starched and ironed three yards of fabric, then measured out the
length of sashing I would need between my Wild Goose Chase strips on a table
that is 67" long. I needed 83" sashing strips, so I measured out what I
thought was TWO lengths of 10" beyond the edge of the table. Then I cut...
