Moscow & St. Petersburg trip by
Dianne Lewandowski
I have a cyberfriend who will be traveling to Moscow & St. Petersburg.
Does anyone have any information about some needlework shops in these
areas? Or perhaps a textile museum.
I had a book on Russian embroidery. Unfortunately, I loaned it out and
it was never returned. But, if I remember...

Pegasus by
John Quinn
I am about 80% finished with "Pegasus, the winged horse" by Pegusus
Originals. It doesn't have back stitching to define the edges of the
various parts of the animal. I'm wondering if anyone here has added
back stitching to it or if you think it would help it pop on the
fabric. I'm stitching it...

Firehouse angel question by
[email protected]
I started stitching up the left side of the angel and have come to a part
that requires the gold braid. Since I do not like normal gold braid, should
I skip it, and let someone else tackle the braid or is this gold braid
easier to work than the Kreniek?
Also, for those who did parts with the gold,...

Catalog? by
lrdavis
Hi,
I have been a member of the Stitching Festival for several years. Today
I received a brochure asking me to send for a brochure. All the past
years it has come as part of my previous years' membership. Can I
expect the catalog to come without requesting?
Thanks so much,
Lynn Davis

Eileen Bennett's new book by
Jacqueline Cahoon
Has anyone seen Eileen Bennett's new book, "The Red Book of Sampler
Stitches?" Are the stitches diagrammed different from the ones in her
previous two books of sampler stitches? I really enjoy those, and use
them a lot, and I'd like to add this one if there isn't much overlap.
Thanks!
