I'm Back !! by
Kris Bishop
Meggan,
I'm back from the beach house. We got home yesterday afternoon. I
spent the rest of the day watering the flowers, going to Giant food for
some fresh fruit & laundry.
This morning , the parents of the girl scouts ( that is in my
local quilt guild) came by with two pick-up trucks ...

I saw your snow on the news last night. Quite impressive!!! And then we
hear that it is our turn next!! (Montreal being a little east of you folks).
And so it was no surprise when the storm made it to town this

Can I stretch it square? by
MaleQuilter
I've been away from this site while I worked on my first watercolor
quilt.
I got a lot of squishies from several generous members of this group
and I bought a lot of fabric to cut up into 2" pieces. The design
process was more difficult than I anticipated but I now have my
project pieced and am...

Patchwork Party?? by
Barbara Sherrill
I recieved an email this morning from one of the several online shops I use.
It's about Patchwork Party 2006. I am very new to quilting so this is a new
thing for me. Does anyone here buy the patchwork? Do you know basically
how long this goes on for? The patch's are beautiful, but the kits...

Retreat ane photos update by
Charlotte Hippen
It was my first retreat and definitely not my last!!! My mother won the
retreat as a shop hop prize and then paid for me to go with her as an early
b-day gift (30th in Aug). We had such a great time that we both put our
names on the list for next year before we even left the retreat. LOL!! ...

Using an edgestitch foot by
the black rose
Has anybody used an edgestitch foot for binding a quilt?
I was mousing around the Bernina site and found a project that suggests
using an edgestitch foot for the binding. I can't really picture how
this would work.
Here's what the Bernina edgestitch foot looks like:...

peeking in again by
cozyhomelife
I peek in here about once a year, and then life usually takes back over and
I disappear. I was just going to read a few notes, but being a blabber
mouth, found myself replying so figured I might as well officially say "hi
again". :)

Juki TL98Q by

Does anyone have any ideas about this machine - good or bad? It is
cheaper than the new Viking Megaquilter plus has the added advantage
of working with the Handiiquilter frame that I have.
Thanks

off kilter quilter
Thank you thank you thank you!! I was able to educate DS on the
differences between US Cadbury and overseas Cadbury - told him the US
stuff sucks, and to always try to get some from either Australia or the
UK grin. Needless to say, he only had a tiny little bit and was back
asking for more. ...
