Quilting in hot weather by
Lenore Lawrence
I always wonder why I manage to do so much quilting in the summer. Just
now, I finished sandwiching a quilt in our sunroom (only room with table big
enough). Sunrooms are nice but habitable only a few days a year. It was
already 85 + in there by 11 a.m........but it is done, ready to be...

If so -- what is your opinion? I may have the chance to buy one used.... I love my other Pfaff

Strong coloured flannels... by
Renée Clark
New to me... doing a lap size last-minute Christmas gift (fourpatch in a
square, nothing complicated), but in flannels of very strong colours: black,
scarlet, deep blue, gold, green, etc. I'm guessing a pre-wash would be the
only sensible thing to do. Is there anything I can do for extra...

OT Winter pictures by
KJ
I know many of us can't stand the thought of looking at more snow, but I
uploaded a few pictures I took during and after just one of our many storms.
I was struck by the way the snow stuck to the trees and looked just like the
Royal Icing that is used to make gingerbread houses. I guess we had...

looking for this fabric by

The Butterfly Queen by Jason Yenter for In The Beginning. Looks like
pointillism morning glory flowers in dark purple and blue, with green, pink
and two or three shades of lighter blues and purples. sigh my current
favorite fabric, and I just cut it.

Back here with a day off, actually I have a long four day weekend,

Positive thoughts and prayers (good thing) by
Charlotte Hippen
I just got off the phone with my realtor. We had a couple look at it
yesterday afternoon that seemed to like at least enough to start checking
into financing and I guess there is a gentleman who is interested in looking
at to tomorrow morning. We have had the house on the market for over a...

proposal by
DrQuilter
I propose than when somebody asks for design or quilting suggestions,
they then have to come back and post a pic. I am always left wondering
what they have done or how it looks like... for example Snigs just asked
about the card trick, she finished it and then posted pics, so we got to
see which...
