OT good thoughts please by
NightMist
A friend of ours just got a call that her sister had gone into hard
labor.
Problem is her sis is a month early, and the baby is face up in
transverse lie.
So good thoughts for mom and baby, a c-section is underway as I type.
Also good thoughts for our friend who got about 10 miles out of town

back from Hawaii by
Idahoqltr
We had a wonderful time in Hawaii. We cruised the islands Feb. 3 - 10
and then spent four nights on Maui. I bought fabrics at "Sew Special"
in Maui and I bought a Christmas wall-hanging and a flip-flop looking
coin purse at another store. For the four quilters in my goup, I
bought little sachet...

For all you QI owners and animal lovers out there. This is pretty simple.
Please tell ten friends to tell ten today! The Animal Rescue Site is having
trouble getting enough people to click on it daily to meet their quota of
getting free food donated every day to abused and neglected animals.

Batiks for $6.50 per yard! NAYY by
Leslie & The Furbabies in MO.
Got an email ad from an online store I patronize. She has very fair
shipping rates and excellent service-
There's still too many batiks on the shelf, so let's continue with the
$6.50 per yard sale through this Monday, April 30th! Price
adjustments will be done on receipt of order so don't be...

best way to mark a quilt by
M Enneking
I have pieced a top for a baby quilt, and have found a book with designs I
would like to use. Have not done this before, and wonder how I should go
about transferring the designs to the quilt. The book suggests tracing the
designs, then layering several pages of paper and sewing through, with...

Exciting find and question about vintage machine by
silverbells
I have been looking around at yardsales lately. I decided to step in to
an estate sale and I found a Singer 319W there. I paid $55 for the
machine, a table, and quite a few accessories. The table is not
original to the machine (I don't think- but I'm not an expert.)
She needs to be cleaned up. ...

Jenn
Okay ladies.
I found the FAQ that tells me what squishies are? But I cannot find
any information that tells me how to join in.
If you would care ot share that particular bit of information with a
newbie, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you,
Jenn

Does this make me (no longer) a bolt-virgin? by
Hanne Gottliebsen
I can't believe it! I just bought a whole bolt of fabric, still in the
plastic and everything.
Some of you might be thinking "but why?" (Others probably thinks "why
not before now?") I decided pretty exactly a year ago that "some day"
I'd do a Baby Jane with the purples I'd already started...
