Shrug? Shawl? Shoulder cover? by Katherine Burgess
Linda, I can picture it in my mind, but can't come up with a name for it. Kind of like a Moebious (and I KNOW that is not the correct spelling!). I actually saw one little thing that just sits on the shoulders and has a huge button - not sure if it is to use or just for decoration - at the breast...

Dragon pattern by Laura
I'm looking for a dragon pattern I can knit. I don't want to create a stuffed dragon. What I'm looking for is a pattern for a panel. I don't want cute, cuddly, or sweet. Nor do I want something vague. I know this is a tall order. I'm just looking for a little help here. If I end up creating...

Selling things? by Karen
I have a question about selling knitted things. Someone told me that it is illegal to sell items that you have knitted or crocheted and did not create the original pattern for. For example, if one were to make a bunch of dish cloths or afghans and sell them at a craft fair, that it is considered...

Dragon pattern by Laura
I wanted to thank everyone for the help with my search. I really appreciate it. I think my best bet is to scan a picture and work it out on knitting paper. Thanks again. Laura

Wonderful S.E.X by Allaya Diep
Congratulations on your find!!! I made a very nice wrap out of approximately 200 grams of mohair blend. If the mohair is really fuzzy, it can go a long way because it qualifies as a chunky weight yarn. :) Just work a nice lace pattern over large needles (I think I used 10's or 12's). Allaya

Gauge calculation by Elby
Hi - I'm ignorant, just picking up knitting again. I have some Noro lily yarn with a gauge of 5 sts/1" on US6-7N). I want to make a sweater. I've found a pattern that calls for this gauge: 3.5 sts. = 1" on size US #10-10.5 http://www.knitlist.com/2002/FransHood.htm How can I figure out the needle...

OT--A hard lesson learned today by Lucille
I just want to remind everyone that when you're trying to sterilize the plastic parts of a nubulizer in boiling water, you must not - I repeat: MUST NOT - go to the computer and read your newsgroups. Since the newsgroup is much more interesting than watching water boil I forgot about it until the...
