Studio/Singer electronics by posey
I have a Singer 580 and a Studio 860. Can I hook up the curly cord from the 580 to the carriage of the 860, thereby using the patterning built in the 580 (mylar pattern reader) on the bed of the 860 (no built in pattern reader), eliminating the need for DAK or an EC-1 connecton? Thanks Posey

A Fair Question by Mike Hardie
Well, I just wanted to follow up here on this issue. I made a truly beatiful baby bunting bag in a fairisle design of single ply angora (multiple colors) on cream color kid lambs wool. I used cut and sew for assembly (so it would qualify) and lined it with 100% cotton knit material) with a zipper...

Does anyone know of an inexpensive or free program to chart intarsia or fairisle patterns on the Mac OSX. I know I can get a chart designer from crochenille but I didn't want to spend $200 to be able to import pictures to a charting design software. Thanks for your help. Allen

Identify a (possibly) antique flatbed knitter? by Wooly
