Short note by
Christina In Ok
Quilting the top is going Ok, no more problems so far( knock on wood) I
am updating the site, but I do quilt just a bit when I have a little
breather,
now I found myself stuck with a spy ware I must have got when I was
looking for icons... It may be a week or longer before I can update you
all...

Neeps? by
Sally Swindells
Neeps?
Nottinghamshire and now Suffolk. Wonder if a change is an adjustment
made by the younger people rather than us golden oldies who were
brought up before the other meaning was invented! Actually both
meanings are in the Oxford Dictionery, but meat comes first!

Focus on Design - Block size and large quilts by
frood
After reading through the ideas thread for king-size quilt, it got me
thinking about large quilts and the blocks chosen to make them up.
If you choose 6" blocks (or smaller), you end up having to make a gazillion
of them to do a queen or king-size quilt.
If you chose 12" blocks, there are fewer...

OT - Update on Family and a new prayer request by
Sharon Harper
D'ya ever get the feeling it's bucketing down on you?
Dad is doing okay - he had the operation and has been moved out of intensive
high dependency to a regular ward. He is due to be released in just over a
week. All his bits are healing nicely although he is very sore.
The new prayers are for...

buying off of e-bay by
Judy W
Has anyone here ever bought off of e-bay? I'm looking at a Designer 1 ESS
Viking Machine, but am a little afraid of spending that much money and not
seeing the product, and not even knowing if it works or not.
Would love some advice.
Thanks,
Judy

OT Another update by
Mika
I talked to Mom last night. She and Dad had just gotten in from the doctors
office. We can breathe a sigh of relief. His test results came back clear.
There was NO cancer in the lymph nodes. Whew!!!! He is feeling much better
and is doing great.
So I just want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone...

Ellison
Howdy!
If you feel you must, really-absolutely-can't-help-it MUST
respond to the spam and troll trash, PLEASE delete the garbage
they've posted, including their e-mail addy and all links.
Otherwise, you're just repeating the same ol' junk, which they will
appreciate.
Thank...

quilting machine by
Stephen Williams
I recently purchased a Little Gracie quilting machine. I'm looking for a
good sewing machine to use with it, preferably one with a long throat and
not too expensive. The one's I've found all cost $800.00 plus.

I just noticed... by

There was a quilt in Firefly!
It's in the one where the lad poses as dead and mails his corps to Mal
Reynolds. Outside the PO collection point on one of the stands is a
quilt... I need to look again.
