Great S.E.X. at Tucson Quilt Show! and a question. by
Carolyn McCarty
Cyndi and I went, and had a wonderful time. There were some really amazing
quilts there, as well as some that made me think, "Hmmmmm.....I could do
that good, or better." For the first time, the quilt guild made available a
picture CD of all the quilts in the show, total cost $7.00. ...

Basting Spray question by
Mrsfrz
I haven't posted in awhile and want to say hello to everyone. I have a little
bit of a dilemma now and would like some advice. I am one of the leaders (and
the only quilter) of a 4-H group quilt project for a quilt the girls have made
to enter in the county youth fair next week. They did Crazy for...

My annual reckoning by
nbhilyard
Back in 1998 I decided to keep track of the fabric I purchased and the
fabric I used. Each year since I have presented the tally to the
world--more specifically, to the online corner of the quilting world where I
hang out. I have always cheerfully admitted to buying more than I've used,
but in...

Batting question by
Sylvia
I am new to quilting and have never tried cotton batting. I want to try it
in a potholder, but am wondering if it shrinks really bad when washed and
should I preshrink? Or what other batting is good for potholders?
Thanks, Sylvia

HUG quilt list with links by
Jalynne
I've been working on the page off and on, and was going to upload it during Christmas
time, but a virus seems to have attacked the file. I'm recreating it as much as I
can, but I don't know if I managed to get all of the quilts and links on there. If
you have a link to one or a photo of a HUG,...

Purple plaid/denim quilt finished! by
Johanna Gibson
Nikki's purple plaid/denim quilt is finished. After sewing that
binding on for hours each day, you'd think I would remember to post
about it. I have to make a label, and I have to finish the 2 patching
pillows, but it is in fact done.

roll call by
Marijke
I saw the roll calls and thougth I'd join back in. I had been gone for a
while, popped back in briefly with the full intent of returning properly but
then got waylaid again. Now, I am here to stay again! Seriously. ;-)
So, the roll call is just a reminder of who we are?

OT- Pet peeves by
Joanne Passmore
I have enjoyed all the pet peeves people have penned. Mine would incude:
DH and 25 yr. old son always piling dirty tupperware and pans IN the sink
instead of on the counter. So even before anyone can wash them, you have to
move everything out of the sink to put the stopper in. DH also refuses...

OT - checking in briefly by
Queen of Squishies
There has been no change. He is still bleeding. This morning they gave him
a sixth pint of blood. His right side is all one big swollen purple bruise
from shoulder to knee. He can't use his right arm. The blood thinner is
all out of his system, so that's not the problem now. But his...

Anybody ever hear of this group? by
Mystified One
They've sent me two e-mails (from my website) asking me to give the
information to our guild. I don't mind, but I'm curious if anyone has heard
of them. You all know how careful we have to be with our charities.

Completed at last! by
WhansaMi
Wow..... wow. Those are just.... wow.
Pat, I am a math teacher, and I'd love to show the website to my students.
Could you tell me how you came up with the concept? I'd love to tell them more
information about how these came to be.
Again, those are just wonderful.
