Singer Featherweight Questions by
John
I received the parts I ordered for the new/old Featherweight I
acquired, and I have a question for all of you Featherweight
Phanatics. I have never owned one or even used one before this recent
acquisition. So my questions is: How fast does this machine sew? In
relation to any of the sewing...

This is a planter outside our County Courthouse. It is cordoned off
until the chick is out of the nest.

ot-wedded bliss? by
Jennifer in Ottawa
Enjoy, jennellh.
A police officer pulls over a speeding car. The officer says, ' I
clocked you at 80 miles per hour, sir.'
The driver says, 'Gee, officer I had it on cruise control at 60,
perhaps your radar gun needs calibrating. '
Not looking up from her knitting the wife says: 'Now don't be...

OT - scarey - spider by
DiMa[_2_]
Here is a very interesting website - I love spiders but not in my home,
although this one can live here as long as it likes.
You can even change it's shape, colour etc.

Survey for a course I’m doing…please help! by
abbey in australia
Hi everyone.
I’m doing a small-business course, and I need to do this survey
amongst a group of people of my choice. Because most of this stuff is
new to me, and I’m really quite nervous, I’ve chosen quilt-makers - to
stay in my comfort-zone!!! I’d be really grateful for some responses,
especially...

OT good grief by
Polly Esther[_5_]
This group had gotten to looking funny because I was getting some responses
but not the original threads. I had been hoping for an update on Irene,
wanted to know how Susan's quilt show went and was wondering what we had
done with Jeanne.
No clue why it worked but I unsubscribed and then...

I won a ribbon! and show report (long) by
Susan Laity Price
Our quilt show in general was a great success. More about that later.
Now I must brag----I won a blue ribbon, Best Pieced Bed Quilt for my
Civil War Love Letters quilt. This is the quilt with 121 foundation
pieced blocks based on the book by Rosemary Youngs. Yes, I know you
want a picture but that...

Thank you all for all of your prayers, healing thoughts and positive
vibes....they are working.
We got the results of the MRI (with dye contrast) and the tumor does
not seem to have spread (thank God). It is also very small (thank
God)....so small that they could not measure it with the...

Seattle quilty places? by
Sunny[_2_]
DH and I are going to be in Seattle next weekend, buying a bicycle he
can use for commuting to work. REI is pretty much in the center of
Seattle. And we're spending Friday night in Issaquah.
So, my friends on the green side of the mountain, where should I go
for a couple of really good quilt...

Is anyone planning to attend? I will be going down on Sat 28 Mar. It

Who uses Twitter? by

I got to thinking about the Facebook users who are now identified in
the soon-to-be-published Directory and wondered who uses Twitter. I
have recently gotten hooked on Twitter (have been a member for a
while, but just went hog-wild in the last few weeks). There is a
really good application for...

It is with glee and a sense of relief to announce that the Double Irish

Swap Hybrid Idea by
Rick[_3_]
Hello all...
I was thinking of a different quilt swap. I would coordinate swapping
and sending / receiving all the squares for a "barnyard theme". I
would supply the batting of a wool blend (llama and Icelandic sheep)
to everyone who participates. The quilts would end up being a bit
smaller...

HUG Pics by
Rita L in MA
Hi,
My DH got home from work very late last night and left again early this
morning. So, he really had no time to help me take pics of my HUG. I
had to do it myself and didn't do a very good job I'm afraid. Please
ignore the striped comforter under the quilt and the laundry basket in
the...
