Sewing Scissors by
Brian Christiansen
I have a couple of pair of sewing scissors. Two are Fiskars, and will
tell the story of why I have 2 if somebody wants me to, but my main
questions is about my other pair.
I have another pair that I suppose is part of my "inheritance" from my
late mother. It is a pair of heavy duty Wiss...

think). I was messing around on ebay (just looking at the listings, not
really "shopping" for anything). Well, anyway, there were 2 listings for
New home 445's on it (there were actually more than that, I think, but I
am just...

T-shirt quilt by
Julia in MN[_5_]
I made a t-shirt quilt for my grandson's graduation. The hardest part
was planning it. I stabilized the shirts with French Fuse fusible
tricot. I had it quilted -- money well spent. I hope this link works.
It's a public album so you don't have to be on facebook....

Hi folks, after 25 years the manual disappeared this week and we cannot find

legs and ran off.
Looking online I found places that advertised the manual but when you get to
the site they don't have it. This is so...

Question about bathrobe I don't like by
Brian Christiansen
Several years ago, I made a bathrobe that kinda looks cool, I suppose,
but I don't really like wearing it as a bathrobe. When I made it, I
choose camouflage print denim, thinking it would soften up as I wash it.
Well, that hasn't happened, I should have gotten something soft in the
first...

stolen quilts - how frequent by
[email protected]
How do you insure a quilt? My insurance company will not give me special coverage on quilts that I would like to show at fairs. They said in the event of fire or theft from my home, they will only cover the cost of the material in the quilt. There has to be a way to insure a quilt properly.
