Air Erasable Marking Pen by
teleflora
Didn't someone share a trick awhile back for making that purple ink
reappear? I marked an embroidery block last night, backed it with batting
and started it. Got called away. Now it's half finished and most of the
markings are gone. Can't retrace it because of the batting.
Any thought?

crumb piecing by
Irrational Number
I've been hand piecing some crumb squares.
I cut a bunch of 6.5" muslin squares and
have been doing the sew-and-flip thing with
the crumbs. It's awesome! I can sew and
not wake up the babies.
I also have a bunch of 8.5" square sheets
of telephone book paper ready for sewing
strings to when I...

Some great S. E. X. by
Julia in MN
Four of us from my small quilting group went shopping in the St. Paul
area yesterday. I bought a lot more than I had planned to buy, but
didn't spend a lot of money, considering what I got. I got the fabric
for the border and sashing for an applique wall hanging that I am
working on; that is the...

Fabric for Hand dyes by
Mika
I have become somewhat of a handdye fanatic. I love them and can't get
enough of them. I am considering learning how to do it myself. I'm a
chicken though. I'm afraid that I will get tons of money invested then
realize that I just can't get the hang of it.
So for all of you who have done or still...

about that. I used to exchange letters with him when I first moved here,

First steps in machine quilting. and quilting motif ? by
Debra
Yesterday I attempted to solve a thread breakage problem with my new
sewing machine so I could use it again. I had been using my machine's
problem to put off my first try at machine quilting, but I decided it
was time to get over my worries. I did several things to the machine
and nothing seemed...
