running out of fabric by
Bernardin vOLMAN
This is the person who posted sometime last week about being a lurker for
about ten years. I have learned a lot from all of you during that time,
including the fact that there is a place where you can post when you are
looking for fabric.
I am making a zoo quilt from the book Patchwork Quilts to...

Can a finished quilt be signed at a wedding without ruining it. by
Beth Jones
My future daughter in law wants me to make a quilt in the colors of the
wedding for her to use as the registry at the wedding. So everyone would be
signing the quilt as they came to the wedding. Making the quilt is not the
problem. I know that there are a lot of people who sign a piece of fabric...

Singer featherweight, newer model vs. older model by
Beth Pierce
I am getting involved in quilting classes at my local quilting store
and am considering a lightweight machine to take to and from class.
I've been looking at the new featherweights, and see that they are 10
lbs., which is a "workable" weight. The question I have is, does
anyone know how many...

Scrappy Tote Bag Pattern by
Beth Pierce
Hi all. Lurker here. I'm looking for a scrappy tote bag pattern that Anne
Vaughan published on the Stashbusters group some time ago. The moderator
cleaned up files and apparently it's no longer on there.
A friend of mine admired my bag, made from Anne's pattern, and I'd like to
direct her to...

Happy Dance! Given a nice gift by
Beth Pierce
I was visiting my neighbor who lives across the road from me, a 70+
year old woman who lost her husband just last year. We got to talking
about quilts and quilting. Then she went upstairs and came down with
a rather old box. She opened it and said that it had belonged to her
favorite great aunt,...

Making a quilted vest out of panne velvet by
Beth Pierce
I am making a quilted vest with lining out of panne velvet for my
SIL's birthday present. It will have a thin batting inside, such as
Thermore. I have never made a quilted vest before, although I have
made many vests and a few very simple quilts. I felt I would go a
little creative with one of...
