BDS2pds
Hey Teresa,

Obviously not enough time left for me to finish them as I hawve a stack here to
do before that day but thought they might like to...

have an entire bolt of moire before the factory closed and will be using that.
I have many 10 inch moiresquares that I have done Redoute' floral embroidery on

Quilting Patterns by
Bea[_2_]
I live in South Orange County, CA and I have 20 or 30 quilting patterns that
I need to find new homes for. I don't want to use eBay and thought perhaps
some quilting guilds could use them for fund raisers. It would just about
kill me to just throw them out as I would prefer that they go to...

Help finding site, please. by
Becky
Some time back, someone posted the URL for a site that was a fairly
mathematical explanation of a number of tile shapes suitable for
adaptation as quilt patterns, some of them tesselating. Prominent among
them was the kite shape. I have googled and googled, and I cannot find that
site. Came to...

walking foot by
Becky
I broke down and got a walking foot for my 1031 Bernina a couple of weeks
ago, planning to use it primarily for quilt assembly and for straight line
quilting. While reading the istructions for possible uses, and how it would
work very well for seaming plaids together, since the matchups would not...

Very OT How do I block a sender? by
Becky
I thought if I went through "TOOLS" and put someone on the "Blocked Senders"
list, that that individual would then not show up in the message list.
Doesn't seem to work with that noxious individual who calls himself "The
Puppy Wizard", have him blocked, and the messages are still showing up.
What...

rotary cutter blades by
Becky
A while back someone posted the info that rotary cutter blades are
interchangable. For the 45 mm size, this is true, at lest for Olfa and
Fiskars, I just put a Fiskars blade in my 45mm Olfa handle. Be aware,
however, that the 65mm blades are NOT interchangable, at least for Olfa and
Fiskars. The...

looking for checkered fabric (black and white) by
Becky
Hi All,
A couple of us in my weekly quilting group are looking for tiny, black and
white checkered fabric. Not gingham type, just plain black and white
checks. We are trying to find it with 8-10 squares per inch. We've seen the
one Big Horn currently has, but it has tiny little red dots in the...

Silver thimbles by
Becky
I lost a silver filigreed thimble that I bought at the 2000
International Quilt Festival in Houston. The vendor that sold it
handcrafted them and was from the Spokane area, but since I threw out
my program from the Festival, I don't have the name of his company.
His name was Tom. If anyone...

Press and Seal, not OT by
Becky
Has anyone else here heard of using Glad Press and Seal for various quilting
chores? My friend heard about it from an on line group she belongs to, and
got me to fiddling with it. You can draw your quilting design on it, smooth
it onto your quilt top, and quilt right through it. It then rips...

Help please, frame opinion needed. by
Becky
When I moved from New Mexico to Colorado, 110 degree summer days weren't
the only thning I left behind. Due to a completely different room layout in
the new house, I had to leave behind my enormous dining room table, the
table on which, of course, I had done all my basting. AAArgh!
I have a...

Now that I"m back, I can finally show you all my latest project. If you go
to http://personal.pitnet.net/dgquilt/ which is Diane Gaudynski's web
page, and go down to Spotlight Student, the little quilt she has there is
mine. I did it to show how
one could use the marbled fabrics. I have just...

OT I'm Back!! by
Becky
After nearly a month of sparring with the MSN Tech Support people about how
to access this group with MSN as my ISP, they finally admitted that MSN had
discontinued support of USEnet groups (I believe decomissioned, is how they
put it), because no one was interested in these groups any more!!! ...
