Stitching while on a cruise by
Cheryl Isaak
DH and I are going on a cruise at the end of the month - my DM is coming to
watch the kids.
I've pretty much decided not to bring a project in my carry on; I don't want
to lose scissors, needles or my clover cutter. Local airport is known to be
pretty strict.
So - I think I want to bring...

Macrame question by
Lorraine
I know I have seen posts about macrame here and I have a question. I do not
do macrame so am not in the know but I need to get a couple of macrame plant
hangars. I am willing to buy them if someone can point me in the right
direction.
Thanks in advance,
Lorraine

Help for handicapped stitcher by
Fred
I hope this doesn't sound like I'm blowing my own horn but my fabric mounts
are ideal for people with physical difficulties. Your friend would need
someone to help with the initial attaching of the fabric but after that she
would almost be away to the races.
I am a founding director and member of...

A tip of the Red Hat by
ingaumma
Thanks to all of the stitchers who helped me find a Red Hat chart. I
have been away from stitching for a few years due to being a caregiver.
Now I have to catch up on what is new and make the needles fly.
Thanks again.

DMC XS Postage stamp charts? by
Linda Wright
My husband really likes the DMC Christmas "Greetings" postage stamp
series. I have two: Houses & Snowman. I would really like to get
Santa and Tree so I could do all four for him. I haven't had much
luck finding it - does anyone have the chart for these they would be
willing to sell or trade? ...

Saga American Sampler/Advice on Frame by
Paula C. Hunter
Thank you so much for all the wonderful, wonderful advise so far!!! Truly
could not have "begun to begin" as it were without it. It has come to my
attention that I need a good, good frame. I have been using hoops, and that
is hell on Linen. My Husband made a little frame, but not good enough...

Happy Dance by
Debra
I finished stitching a little baby gift for one of DH's fellow workers
on Friday night. Over the weekend I washed, mounted, and framed it.
Last night DH and I took it to the man. He was very surprised to see
anyone since it was Sunday and he had to work alone, and more
surprised to receive a...

Joseph Hurley
Hi all. I have a question I need some guidance on.
I was at the mall today and the calendar store was having its usual
after-New-Year's 50% off everything (read we want to get rid of everything
so we can close up shop till next Christmas season) sale, and saw a new
thing, the Cross-Stitch...

Suggeested needed:knitting/crochet book by
Ragamuffintears
This is the year I'm going to learn to knit and crochet! I can't take a class
because the closest shop is in town (25 miles from home) and after
work/weekend chores do not allow me to fit any classes in on nights or
weekends. So anybody suggest a really good teach myself to knit or crochet
book...

Laying tools photo's by
Caryn
I can see the only one who got wrenched by my fibbing and revealing was
Mirjam.
Which is amusing to be sure!! It's amazing how that person can only see one
side of most arguments, and yet rails at you for being less than totally honest
in order to appease a difficult woman long enough to...

ISO Crocheted Sweater w/X-Stitch Covered Buttons by
Bonnie
I've been kicking myself for years because at one time I had a magazine,
probably a BH&G magazine, that had a pattern in it for a lovely sweater
crocheted using DMC Cebelia with cross stitched flowers and leaves on the
sweater and buttons that were made by cross stitching on linen and then
covering...

Does anyone recognize this? by
Cheryl Isaak
Ok - I spotted this in the Herrschners catalog and fell for it! Any thought
on the designer? The kit is cheap enough, but I really want the chart alone!

Thanks

Longaberger pattern needed by
ingaumma
I need the chart for the cherries picture. Longaberger sold the four
fruit picture cross stitch kits at the Homestead. They are now retired
and I didn't get the chance to get the cherries kit. All I really need
is the chart and I would be happy to pay for using it and send it back
to you.

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone on the list has stitched the "American Sampler" by

am ready but have so many questions.
Does anyone know of a online sample or tutorial of the Queen Stitch?
Is it recommended I "graph"...
