Am looking at a PSI DC720 dust collector. Anyone have any experience
with these types dust collectors. I would like to be able to carve

Beginner in doubt? by
Princebilly1

Pear are very good (soft) hardwoods with close grain.
They tend to carve like butter and you get really fine detail with either
I use mallet and chisel and not knives so I cannot advise you on how hard you
have to...

caouselhorse by
Scott
Anyone have a good suggestion/outlet for a full-sized carousel horse. The
horse is in progress & at this rate it will be some time before it is
completed, if ever. Just wondering what to do with it once it is finished.

Doum Palm nuts. We collected about a sackfull of them because they
looked pretty and smelled nice as decorations. Anyway, after removing

Honest appraisal by
Jim McLaughlin
My father in law is in his last days of his life. He has been a carver for
years and years, until he could no longer make it up and down the stairs to
his basement. He has carved about 50 to 75 carvings over the years. The
