Finally got the pictures up on the website... by
Cynthia Spilsted
Hi All:
I am taking a bit of a break from sewing until "Psycho Kitty" settles
down a bit. Unlike Kate's well-mannered felines, our Pepper thinks that
everything's fair game! I did manage to take down and re-furbish the old
curtains in the family room, though. Not really an easy task as it...

Nelco A-4-2? by
greenvelvetsofa
Still desperately looking for a manual for a Nelco A-4-2 machine, a
photocopy or scan would be terrific. Yep, I've searched the web & the few
references I've found to this machine failed to turn up a manual. And, all
the sites I've found that offer Nelco manuals don't have this one listed ~
guess...

dress zippers by
Taria
Is there a reason that sometimes a dress zipper will not lie flat
at the bottom of the zipper. I haven't put in many zippers in a long
time but want this one to look nice. Also, I am working with invisible
ones.
Any suggestions or tips?
TIA, TAria

Mignon
Hello! I'm usually a lurker on this list, but I need help at this point, and
because I have learned so much by reading, I thought I'd request your
assistance.
Because of my voluptuous figure (not fat, you understand ;o), I am now
forced to give up commercial patterns and create my own.
The two...

Wrap dress fabric by
Jon
Hi
I have my heart set on making a Diane Von Furstenberg-esque wrap around
dress for a wedding I am attending next month. I have been frantically
trying to find a rayon/viscose and lycra patterned fabric that might be
suitable
(ideally a pinky/floral pattern), but have so far failed miserably -...

Kate Dicey
After many hours slaving over a hot computer, and nailing our ISP to the
phone, the revamped web site is up and running.
Some projects have gone, and lots are now reduced to pictures in a
gallery. This has allowed me to get several new things up on the
costume front:

How do you machine sew nylon webbing and D-rings? by
B. Peg
I have a bunch of 3/4" wide nylon strap webbing and D-rings to attach to the
ends of them. Typical put through D-ring about 1 1/2" and sew a box
pattern to secure the ring to the strap webbing. These are going on some
duffle bags to help secure them and to use shoulder straps if needed.
How...
