Hello by lanfear32
Hi, I just thought I would introduce myself-I am Alicia, I am a mother of 4 human children and 3 canine children :-) I enjoy crochet, knitting, and quilting as well as other crafts. I am hoping to make some new friends who like the same kind of things that I do!

Pattern help by Bob & Carol
I see that Herschnerr's catalog has a pattern for a shrug with Caron yarn on the first page. It says that that pattern is on the yarn sleeve. Anyone have this pattern and would like to share a copy? They don't sell this yarn in my area. (I'd buy one skein for the pattern) thanks C

Infinite Collective Wisdom by Eastern Edge
Well, I added the border in the multicoloured yarn, as everyone suggested. Plus made a little hat too. The second hat is partly done but might need to be ripped out; I think I miscounted somewhere (that's what can happen when you don't use patterns). Finished hat and...

Living on the edge by Wooly
I got my lifeline installed on Monday and started the edging. Again and again. I'm finally on a roll with it, but I'm too sleepy to continue. I'm about 1/4 through the edging: I can see my blue stitch marker hanging in the center stitch. Four week project. +++++++++++++ Reply to the list as I...

Expensive knitting needles by Leah
Hi Fay, Has anybody used these $112.00 knitting needles? http://www.gbknitting.com/index.htm No I haven't, and I don't think I ever would. If I want wooden knitting needles, I'd be more likely to go with Brittany, which are 13.57 times LESS expensive than those outrageously priced GB...

Expensive knitting needles by YarnWright
You spun a FINE yarn Katherine, The best knitting needles I ever used were tortoiseshell. My mother had them when I was a child, and they were absolutely gorgeous. Alas, they were destroyed when her house burned down, and, since they are illegal now, I guess I'll never own my own. ...
