FROOD-Etc. Crafts meeting by
Susan
Don't worry you didn't miss anything. We were going to arrange a
meeting at Etc. crafts, but never did. I was supposed to keep in
touch-but didn't. It's my fault. Hopefully we can this coming
Sat.-early afternoon. Are you up for it? I'll be cooled off by then.
The guys are here NOW installing...

climbing trips turns on topic by
Lisa Ellis
I've been climbing near Lake Tahoe, CA, for the past few days. The trip
was great! Even, better, it included some quilts!
My friend Jen and I left a bit earlier than we planned because of a
thunder storm Sunday afternoon. As we drove through Placerville, she
spotted a quilt shop (and she...

With so much repetition, I've forgotten how to do anything else ... by
DeB Shaw
I've done tons of PPP lately, and decided to do some simple pinwheels today.
Seems it's not-so-simple anymore. *sigh* I can get everything to match up,
without any problems ... but just can't seem to get my block size correct.
I've come up short 5 times now ... so guess what? ... I'm PP'ing that...

My deepest sympathies for your loss. My Sterling died of the same thing.
We too put him to sleep. It was the greatest gift I could give him. No more
suffering. You will always have good memories of him. We often speak of
the animals that are gone with fond remembrances. The roses are a...

Renewed Spirits thru Quilting! by

Been in the mini-doldrums recently. All Fair projects finished; Mom in the
hospital; plenty of books and fabric but nothing was 'singing' to me! I
visited the Quilted Moose in Gretna NE (outside of Omaha) and they steered me
to a pattern from The Buggy Barn (www.buggybarnquilts.com) called...

Russian language course.. the bad news is that even though I am a

a terrible time finding places to live - people DO NOT want 18 year old
students renting their property (we're nice people really).
I was wondering if any of you could help out by sending a copy of the local
paper with...

OT-recipe - ANZAC cookies by
Vivien &/or Tony
Kia Ora,
The NZ in aNZac stands for New Zealand, so although Australians claim these
as their own treasures, they belong, rightly, to us both ;-)
Here is the recipe from the "Bible" of Baking, here in NZ - the Edmonds Cook
Book(first printing in 1955; the best-selling NZ book ever):
