Wall quilt or Runner, Need Ideas by
Pat in Virginia
Hello!
DS just bought a new (old) house. One narrow space in the kitchen i
crying out for a Wall hanging. The size and shape is about the same as a
runner. So I will construct it to be used in both ways.
It needs to be about 16-18" wide and ?? long, maybe 30-36" I guess.
Main colors: yellow and...

GFG hexagon template by
nbhilyard
http://www.cutquiltsfast.com/
This was listed in the "commercial" section of Quilting Traders Newsletter.
If you have a hankering to make a Grandmother's Flower Garden quilt -- or
any other that would use hexagons -- this would be a handy cutting device.

question about purple fabric by
SMark
I have a question. I did a google search and can not find my answer.
I have noticed that when I iron some of my purple pieces, the fabric will
change color. Most of the time, the purple comes back, except yesterday
ironing a Debbie Mumm piece, the color did not come back. Why does this
happen...

Kate Dicey
Yay! At last James and I got to do something quilty - we sandwiched and
pin-basted his quilt for his friens Lewis. We were out for lunch, so
didn't get to any actual sewing, but it was great to spread the stuff
out and pin it all!
There will be pix on the new web site when it's up and running -...

Anne in CA
On Monday, I listed some old computer parts that DH kept nudging me to
get rid of. Today a guy who wanted to build a computer for his son came
and picked them up. No fuss, no muss, no paying hazardous waste fees...
much smiling on my part.
I am now a committed Freecycler. Thank you to the...

I remember seeing one on someone's website and thought it was an absolute hoot!
I want to show it to some of my friends who also have Australian Cattle Dogs.
Thinking about doing an Evil Sunbonnet ACD quilt for ACD Rescue. grin There
are enough evil ACD stories that we could fill up a quilt! ...

I'm off to New Zealand (from Western Australia) this weekend and really

I posted about my trip last week but all the NZ quilters must have been
hibernating.
Any suggestions as to LQS near Hamilton and Wellington? I'm only getting to
the north island this trip. I'm staying...

No, I didn't actually finish anything. (But I'm really close on one! Of
course, it would probably help if I'd actually gone into my sewing room at
some point this last week. LOL)
I just got the season two DVDs from Linda Taylor, and got to see my quilt on
TV. (Well, actually, on the computer, as...
