Crochet edgings - recommendations? by
Monika
Greetings,
I am looking for a good book on crochet edges using yarn. Specifically, i am
looking to add nice edges and perhaps other embelishments to things i have
knitted.
Any recommendations or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Classic Elite Gatsby yarn/Men in Knits by
BDS2pds
Thanks to all that helped. The cheapest place ended up Web (yarn.com) because
only a few carried this new yarn and THEN only this yarn.com discounted 25% if
you bought a lot. I needed 13 to do the cardigan. I surely do hope this works
now as this sweater ended up $133 for the yarn, $29 for the...

6x6 mail..(big smile) by
Els van Dam
Dear Barbara, thank you for your great card from Minnesota, I love the dog
sledding. Also the husky /eskimo/ and there is another sled dog breed I
cannot think of so quickly, have great hair and undercoats for spinning.
So nice to get a card when you least expect it
Big hug

NYCO progress report -- and a question by
JudyTurpin
Hi folks. I actually am making progress on my New Years Cast On -- the Celtic
cardigan. I finished the back yesterday. It is somewhat heavy going in the
yoke section but it is taking shape now. I really like working with the yarn -
it is part alpaca/ part wool. I noticed that Elann now has an...

FOs by
Ranee Mueller
Well, I had two more FOs recently. Both were kind of cheaters
because one was a set of bootees that only needed the second one sewn up
and the other was a bonnet that I made for Elijah that I only needed to
sew on some rosettes for Amira, but they are finished.
I have six things finished for her,...

Okay, I got email today from Smiley's saying that my order was shipped
this morning - woohoo!!! I thought for sure that there'd be a back
order, as I ordered 25 balls of Lopi for my coat, but looks like
everything is going as planned, so far. I've tweaked the pattern so I
can knit it in one piece...

what to do with single ply handspun? by
Artchick
Hi, question for those of you that spin your own, or work with handspun
yarns - what do you do with leftover singles? I ply most of my spinning for
knitting, but there always ends up being some leftover single on one spindle
or another. I'm acquiring quite a pile of it, and I hate to let it go...
