Fair Results by Mischief
Well figured I should post how the fair craft competition went now that I have everything back. I entered four categories and am happy to say that I received 4 ribbons. 4th - hand puppet 4th - knit slippers 4th - cross-stitch on linen 2nd - crocheted lapghan.

The instructor at a class at my LYS was talking about joining yarns and she mentioned a "spit & splice" method. She didn't get to demonstrate it, we ran out of time. I thought she was either kidding, or that I misunderstood her, and maybe it was supposed to be "split & splice". But sure...

One piece sweater by biig
Does anyone know of a site that has a pattern for a knitted one piece sweater for a toddler? We knit for a mission in the Ukraine. (Now called CSI?) We would like something that doesn't have sleeves to be set in. It could be a pullover or a cardigan. Thanks .....Sharon in SW Ontario Canada.
