About the next project in my mind by
Pirjo Ilvesvuori
Actually...the next I thought it is time for a set. You know
the thing like blankie & jacket or something else like that.
A combination, you see. The yarn Nora sent me a long time
ago has some use now. I had to find a right shade of gray
beside it, but I found it. Now I think...the jacket (made...

About that kitten by
SlinkyToy
When I took my entry to the fair on Wedesday I found a kitten in a
trash can. I was walking back to my truck and the can started
squalling. My vet says is it perhaps 12 days old. A little gray
tabby that my son has named "Leopard" because of its stripes - who am
I to argue?
I'm feeding it every...

A question about using wool? bit OT by
Sarah Grace
....in a quilt?
Ok i know this is not exactly yarn related but it does relate to wool...When i
lived in Italy i was loaned a non patchwork quilt that i was told was stuffed
with wool. Even though it was the thickness of a regular quilt (rather than a
duvet) it was very snuggly. I loved it and I...

Sarah Grace´s Italian quilt washing by
Anna MCM
Hi!
I asked my mother about washing the Italian quilt stuffed with wool.
Water must be avoided, otherwise you will get something felted and
unusable. The only way is dry cleaning.
After winter she airs her one very well on the balcony, beats it with a
rug beater (hope this expression is right),...

New photos by

Loads of 'em. Hope you enjoy them.
Thanks for all your kind words by the way. You're all welcome. I've sorted
out the e-mail problem. When I started getting the 'microsoft' viruses, I
decided to log on to web mail to delete them rather than let them load on to
my computer. Even though I have a...

Vs: I just love days like this! by
Pirjo Ilvesvuori
Wonderful Aud! And imagine yourself sitting in the swing,
moving it with your legs. Knitting is in your hands, and you
listen the song called The Portrait. Oh what a picture! It
fits like a glove into the hand. Can't explain, you should
feel it. But I can tell you I have seen that picture in...

Lopi tech help by
KARoloff
Can anyone help me with this? I've knitted a circular-yoke Lopi sweater for my
DH (last holidays); he tried it on - it bunched at the front of the chest and
was tight over the shoulders. Am I doing something wrong? Will increasing chest
size help? Or do I have to put in markers and knit shoulders...

Thread Project by
Myka KS
Has anyone heard of this? Since I'm a newbie, this topic may have already
come up and I missed it. I heard about it in church this morning and
thought it would be a wonderful thing for this group to participate in, if
it hasn't been done already. If there is a thread project ambassador for
RCTY...

I just found out on a knitter's forum that you sell on e-bay. I went and
had a look and your stuff looks awesome, and so is your feedback file. Way
to go!
BTW, your I.D. is pretty cute too. (ecclescakes). Aww, can I pinch your
cheek?

First of all this logs in under my hubby's name, I am Bobster's wife. I
haven't been logged into the group long. I crochet and I was wondering if
any of you do. From what I have seen most of you knit. I am a beginner in
crochet and have problems reading some patterns. Right now I am working...

Hi from newbie by
Liz
Hi everyone
I'm not new to knitting as I learned when I was about 9 or 10, but I'm new
to this board. You seem a very warm and friendly bunch of people! I have
been lurking for a while and have learned an awful lot, and developed a
large favourites folder entitled 'knitting' with many sub-folders...
