B*tching by
Cheryl Isaak
I'm already to finish Elizabeth's Design's Garden Path
when I realize I have the flower baskets on either
side of the gate completely off - one's too high and
too close to the border, the other too low and too far
from the boarder and you can tell.
So, I've frogged them both out and will go repull...

OT -- venom takes a toll by
anne
Last Sunday, a man opened fire in a Unitarian church during a children's
performance of Annie here in Knoxville, TN. Before being subdued, he killed 2
and wounded 7. Investigators found a letter in which he 'justified' his
actions, citing how liberals and Democrats had ruined the country....

Message from Lucille!! by
Gill Murray
Hi folks,
I got a phone call from Lucille fifteen minutes ago. ( I was in the
grocery store). Apparently her computer has crashed, and she doesn't
know when she will be back online again. She didn't want any of her
friends at rctn to worry about her.
To sum it up, the computer died, Lucille...

what to do with a sweater's worth of wool? by
Kalmia
I have an old sweater I'll never wear again as it's a bit tight and
has a defect where a dog got a tooth caught in it.
I want to unravel it and reuse the wool. Do you think there would be
enough in it for a crocheted scarf? It was a 'boughten' sweater,
pullover with long sleeves.

Thanks!! by
Gillian Murray
Just a "thank you" to all of your input regarding cataracts. I have
downloaded the info about the "hinged" lenses, but Idon't see my Doctor's
name on the list. I am leanng towards doing as Lucille has. Have the eyes
adjusted so I can use close-up without glasses, then get prescription for
distance....

mideastern cross stitch by
S L Ovard
I usually lurk here. I have returned to college after too many years and
don't have time to do much needlework or post often.
A few months ago, I can't remember how long, there was a thread about
needlework in the holy land and the middle east. It took me a while to get
to my storage and dig out...

ebay? by
Kim
Anyone have any tips about selling on ebay? I've been given a large box of
needlepoint kits and thought I'd put them up on ebay to get a few extra
dollars to help pay off some bills. Would I do better to put them up
separately or just one big lot of items? There are needlepoint kits, two
hardback...

english stitch by
D.M.Evans
Thank you for everyone's help in learning about the alternative method of
cross stitching. I am using it now and I love it, it really makes
transistions from place to place the easiest. I have much better tension
with completing every stitch and don't get stuck with half a row done and
running out...
