New Miniatures web site by
Rick K
Hello all!
I've been interested in making dollhouse miniatures for quite some
time, and have been reading messages here for the past couple months
or so. I've never known anybody else personally who liked to make
miniatures.
I've recently gotten more serious about it (including giving a try...

Dolls houses - outdoors?! by
[email protected]
Hi there
I wondered if people have tried building dolls houses outside at all?
Possibly in the forms of whole miniature villages. There are lots of
them in England as model villages in 1:12 scale - like Bekonscot Model
Village which is almost 80 years old in public gardens... but has
anyone tried...

Working mullioned windows by
Cathy Weeks
I plan to replace the windows on the front of the Thornhill with
working mullioned windows. But the only ones I've found are from
Lawbre - at a cost of $20 a pop. Are there any that are cheaper?
I've found working windows (non mullioned) and I've found mullioned
windows (non working). But...

miniature trade by
Metis-Artist
I am new to the miniature world and am building my first 1:12 scale home. I
am a legally blind Metis artist and was wondering if anyone would be
interested in trading my art prints for any miniatures or building supplies.
I really need framing molding and clamps to make miniature frames so that...

Pattern for policeman doll uniform by
Aileen Howard
Hello there
I have been searching for a 1/12 scale policeman doll for my dollhouse and
the only good one I've found costs around £50 which I can't afford. Please
can anyone tell me where I can find a pattern so I can make a uniform
myself?
Thanks for any help,
Aileen

How new can you get? by
Jackie T
I'm just starting out with this hobby - literally, just assembling my first
house kit.
I've read through the FAQ resources & many of the past messages, but I can't
see the answer to my question, which is:
If I buy a doll figure to go in my house (paying about £20) will I be able
to change her...

Small drinking glasses by
Tapper
I'm looking for small drinking glasses or vases. Plastic or glass. I want
them bigger than 1/12th scale; maybe 1/2-3/4 inch tall. I've got tniy tiny
ones in 1/12th scale, and pretty big ones like for a play tea set, but I
haven't been able to find the size I'm after. I've checked wedding and...

1/8 inch brads with 1/8 inch plywood? by
Cathy Weeks
My current project has 3/8" MDF walls, and I got to thinking about my
next project. I'm thinking about a Greenleaf cottage next, and
wouldn't wiring prove a problem? If you use the brads (or the
eyelets) - which are 1/8" long, that's the same as the thickness of
the walls. What's to prevent the...
